Good cleanser with no residual feeling

I have sensitive but oily skin which result I have a high requirement for cleanser. This product meet my expectation. The texture is a little bit thick but the formula allows it form up quickly. In addition, it didn't give the feeling of chemical stuff remain on the face after you washed it. The down side is it is a basic cleanser for sensitive skin and my face still became oily easily. I would say oily skin please stick with acne face wash as those contains salicylic acid.

Gentle for everyday uses.

The cleanser is gentle, scent free and was easy enough to use multiple times a day. It sure beats the bar soap I was previously using, leaving my face feeling dry and tight. This cleanser was light and was fine to apply by hand or by washcloth. The title says it is a foaming cleanser, but I didn't quite notice any distinct foaming. It was refreshing and I would buy the product, especially if it came in a smaller travel size.

This cleanser is everything I’d want in a cleanser. I have always preferred foaming cleansers and this one did not disappoint. I used it daily for about 2 weeks, morning and night. My skin tolerated it perfectly. It took make up off easily, it lathered well, it left my skin smooth and fresh. My skin felt and looked healthy and clean and I did not experience any irritation or discomfort at all. My skin felt hydrated after using this which is not always true for me with other cleansers. This is also a very large bottle which means that it will last a while before I have to replace. A little goes a long way. A half pump is more than enough to wash my face. I understand everyone has different reactions to different products but this one was an absolute win for me and I can happily recommend to others. Gentle and fun!

This has not only left my skin smooth but vibrant. I love pretending I’m in the typical commercials you see for advertisement where the girl is washing her face. The foaming aspect is so nice and feels refreshing. Overall an awesome cleanser

Smells nice, but is too drying for my face

Let's start with the packaging. I love the pump, which means I can easily get product in the shower or pump near the skin. This bottle is HUGE; this will take months to finish, even if you use it for a day. So I'm very happy for that, value-for-money is definitely there.
The scent of the cleanser is extremely light; if you have sensitive and reactive skin to added fragrances in products, this should not bother you. If your nose is sensitive to scents, this should not bother you. It's extremely gentle.
The cleanser is just a cleanser, it does not remove your makeup. You will need to properly remove your make-up and SPF prior to using this cleanser to get the full effect.
The consistency of the cleanser is a soft and milky, not too sticky and not a gel. I like that.
My only (but big) drawback is the PH level for this cleanser. It must be higher than a 7 (more basic that water), as my skin felt very tight and dehydrated after using it. That's not great for MY skin type. To compensate, I had to layer a few different moisturizers to regain moisture in my skin.
So, this has been demoted to body wash. Which I'm not complaining about, it's very nice on the body and doesn't dehydrated my skin there. But I cannot apply this on my face.
I would recommend this cleanser only if you are not prone to dehydrated skin.

I received the Neutrogena cleansing gel for free. after trying it for a week I can tell you that I started to wonder what I was using before! very gentle, cleans deeply without stinging the eyes. it has become essential to my evening routine.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser is perfect for my dry skin. The pump bottle is great for cleansing in the shower and O e pump is enough for a good light lather. It rinses off very easily and my skin doesn't feel tight afterwards. The perfect gentle yet thorough clean for my dry skin.
