Great Protection

I love the fact that this sunblock is water resistant and SPF 60 and you can wear it on your face over makeup without turning my face white. Unfortunately I live in Canada so i didn’t not get to test its effectiveness after swimming as we still have snow, but i did wear it outside on a sunny day when I was out for a few hours in the sun and the UV index was high and it worked as it should preventing UVA/UVB/UVC rays (i have never seen a product with all 3!). It was a little greasy in my opinion, but super light so didn’t cause any breakouts and easy to apply.. It has a slight smell but pleasant and not overbearing. I am excited to use this product more in the summer as my skin loves neutrogena products and this one is super protective to my skin.

There's no white cast and it doesn't leave my skin greasy. I noticed that there are times the oil and cream separates so I always shake the tube before application. I will keep this to see its true potential in spring and summer.

Great daily sun protection!

I got to try NEUTROGENA® ULTRA SHEER® Dry-Touch Lotion SPF 60 through the Butterly Product Review Club in exchange for my honest opinion. This is the perfect daily sunscreen to apply every day under makeup. I know how important it is to protect my face every day to keep my skin looking healthy. This lotion is so lightweight and absorbs into the skin so easily. I love that it doesn't have that greasy feeling that other sunscreens have. It is non-comedogenic so doesn't clog your pores. I would definitely add this to my skincare routine.

Loved the texture

I received the new Neutrogena sunscreen with SPF 60 with Dry-Touch texture.

As soon as I started applying it on my arms I felt the difference with other sunscreens, the texture is dry, very pleasant and very easy to apply on the body. I have even used it on my face and the feeling is very good too.

Although it is not a mineral lotion, it does not have oxybenzone, which is a very favorable point.

The only weak point that I always think should be improved in all sunscreens is the scent, it is very strong, invasive and not very pleasant. But this is not a problem with this Neutrogena product, but with all of them.

My overall score is very good, I recommend it and consider buying it for next summer.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 60 is an ultralight sunscreen. Formulated with HELIOPLEX it provides UVA/UVB protection with SPF 60. It has lightweight texture that absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave any greasy feeling. I like that it has light fresh scent! It has become must-have in my daily routine. It’s perfect for everyday use and under makeup.

Positive glimpses

Butterly and Neutrogena sent me the popular Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF60 to try free in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, my sunscreen met with an extreme period of Canadian winter during shipping and there were some consequences.

With HELIOPLEX, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF60 provides UVA & UVB protection with a Dry-Touch, ultra-light and non-shiny finish, and us recognized by the Canadian Dermatology Association. 

Focus ingredients: Homosalate 15%, Octocrylene 10%, Octisalate 5%, Avobenzone 3%. - no Oxybenzone to prevent sensitivity. 
There are some skincare ingredients, but also Dimethicone and parfum.
Scent is mild, however not bothersome.

Due to my sunscreen's unfortunate polar experience, I received it as a solid block that had to defrost.
Therefore, I will give a lot of leeway as the sunscreen I squeeze out of the tube is broken, with excess oil dripping out, and an uneven application and feel. I have friends that use this sunscreen, and theirs come out like a cream. 
If I mix it on my hand, it blends back a bit, and applies well, but it feels a little chalky and I do get a white cast. 
I blame the freezing for this. 

Closer to the summer, I will purchase a new tube to try again. I don't think I have been able to see this sunscreen's true potential through no fault of its own.

Dark skin sunscreen

It is a sunscreen pleasant to the touch, and leaves a velvety feeling on the skin. if you have oily skin may not be the best choice for you because it leaves a little sluggish skin, but I like that so its not a problem for me.
I have light dark skin complexion so most of face sunscreens leaves a white cast on my skin.
I tried 3 method to apply it:

1. The sunscreen on its on and work the product with my hands before applying on my face.
- After a while some sections around my hairline and eyebrows had some dried product build up. A bit of white cast when applied.
2. Mixing with moisturizing face cream/oil.
- Kept my face moisturized all day without any dryness. No issues
3. Mixing with a tear of liquid foundation
- Derms don't recommend mixing both products will dilute the amount of SPF in the sunscreen, thus reducing its efficacy

The sunscreen is easy to apply and dries quickly without leaving a thick residue. It does not cause breakouts, feel greasy or sticky, or drip into the eyes. I have been using it daily for 2 weeks and it has added protection to my skin, which has improved significantly. If you have sensitive skin or sensory issues and are not fond of most sunscreens, this affordable and effective drugstore brand is worth a try. It may seem too good to be true, but it's not!

Un gros oui

Je lui donne un bon 8.5/10 !! Ne laisse pas de marque blanche, pénètre bien ( mais pas assez vite a mon goût, mais beaucoup mieux que d’autres que j’ai utilisé ! Elle perd .5 ici ) pour ce qui est de l’odeur, elle ne sent pas ´la crème solaire ‘ par contre elle a quand même un parfum et c’est malheureusement pour ça qu’elle a perdu un point ici.

Est ce que je la recommande, vraiment ! Avec son fps de 60, son effet non gras 🫶🏻 c’est un ouiii ☀️ pour bien profiter du soleil en paix

Protects and lightweight on the skin

This sunscreen was great to use every day; I liked the high SPF.  It did a great job at not pilling up under my makeup. It doesn't have a sticky dry down, or tacky feeling. It did a great job at absorbing and felt really lightweight. Wore amazingly well throughout the day and didn't make my face greasy at the end of the day. After wearing it for a while, I was happy that it didn't break me out and had a nice light scent.

Something I already regularly used!

While I was given this product to review from Butterly, I've been using NEUTROGENA® ULTRA SHEER® Dry-Touch Lotion SPF 60 for awhile now. As a very pale person who burns easily, daily sunscreen is a must for me to protect against sun damage and burns. The ultra sheer dry lotion gives me everything I need in a sunscreen. It is non-greasy, blends in well, works under my make-up and keeps that sun damage at bay! My one complaint is that like any sunscreen I've tried, it stings a little if it gets in my eyes due to sweat or post swimming but I haven't found one that doesn't. As an added bonus, a little goes a long way with this already cost effective product. For me, this is a year round winner but at the very least, should be added during the summer months.
