Face mist

I've never tried a mist sunscreen on my face before, so it took a few times to figure out how much to apply to avoid having my face become too oily. Once that was solved for, the sunscreen absorbed well. Not sure of its effectiveness as it is currently winter, would need to try in summertime again.

I like this sunscreen as it doesn’t clog the pores and doesn’t make the skin break out. It is gentle for sensitive skin and doesn’t sting. I just find that it leaves a small white film on face, no other complaints otherwise.

So light and fresh smelling!

I love how light this is! I've always used a lotion based, which makes my skin feel greasy and gross. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Mist is such a great change! It absorbs quickly and my skin is left feeling less weighed down compared to a lotion based product. I still have a slight sunscreen feel (slight greasy feel), but it's definitely less apparent with the mist.
The scent is really light and fresh, as opposed to the familiar coconut or generic tropical scent that many sunscreen products have. That was a big thing that won me over.

I just received this package in mid December. I was afraid I would not get a chance to properly test it since December is pretty sunless where I live,but I was wrong.
I had plenty of Sun and got perfect sunny days to try it out. I liked the idea that this is a spray and it would be easy to use on the go, which is what I did. It does a wonderful job, it protects my skin and easy to re-apply. I would consider to buy it again, but I prefer a cream version, because I am a bit sloppy and a few times it went in my eyes. Rather than than I think it's great,does the job well.

Not the right time of year

Because it is winter I tend to stay inside because of my hate of the cold, but I did use it. It went really well and didn’t interfere with my make up which I am very grateful for! I can’t wait to use it in the hot summer weather!

Feels So Nice On My Skin

I really like this face mist sunscreen. It sprays out evenly and goes on completely clear. It refreshes my skin, quickly absorbs in and there's no residue left behind. The SPF of 50 is wonderful and my skin actually feels better after I use it, soft and supple. The only thing I don't absolutely love about this product is the scent. It's not off-putting or anything, just not a scent that I enjoy. It's smells plant based but not floral, and it lingers for a while after application. Overall, this is a product I will definitely continue to use because of it's great qualities. #gotitfree

A sunscreen perfect for oily skin!

I was lucky enough to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try out this sunscreen for free. To preface my review, I have very oily, acne-prone skin. Every facial sunscreen I've ever used has left a streaky white residue on my face and made it super shiny and sticky. And when I try to get rid of the streaks the product just pills off my face. I was pleasantly surprised that I really, really loved this sunscreen! It has a fine mist which is a necessity for a facial spray product. It doesn't leave a weird white residue that I have to try to get rid of. It absorbs really fast and doesn't make my skin look incredibly shiny. It also feels lightweight compared to the sunscreens I've used in the past. The only worry I have is that I don't know what type of coverage it's providing to my face. Because it's a spray and not a thicker lotion, I don't know what parts of my face it may be missing, whether I need to apply more, etc. But that just my worry and not an issue with the product itself. Overall, I'm very glad I was offered the opportunity to test this out because I've discovered my new facial sunscreen. I will definitely be switching to this in the future.

Perfect spf retouch

It’s perfect when you have makeup and you have to retouch your spf or a quick mist. I feel like the bottle it’s cheap and it doesn’t always work but it’s good and I like it and definitely would purchase again cause this type of spray spf it’s a must.

Ultra Sheer Sunscreen

I had the opportunity to try the neutrogena ultra sheer face mist sunscreen as part of the product review club in exchange for my honest opinion. Currently I use the neutrogena hydroboost gel sunscreen which i am a big fan of. I like the idea of a mist sunscreen as I find sometimes cream sunscreens are too oily and leave my face looking shiny. The sunscreen comes in a 100ml spray bottle and is SPF 50. The bottle is compact and can easily fit in a purse, gym bag, beach tote, etch without taking up too much space. To apply you have to spray the mist onto your hands and then apply to your face. For obvious safety reasons it makes sense not to spray it directly onto your face as it could get into your mouth eyes, nose etc. I didn't find the smell too strong but I did find that the product felt "ultra sheer" lightweight and invisible. Sometimes with the cream sunscreens you get a bit of whitecast which I didn't find was the case with the mist. I would recommend this to anyone who is used to or prefers mist sunscreens or looking for something more lightweight.

Light and effective

I use this sunscreen mist before applying make-up. It is very lightweight and does not mess with my make-up. It has a very mild sunscreen scents but it goes away after a few minutes. It does not break out my skin so I thing it is not clogging pores. Great product from Neutrogena.
