I love this!

I started using Neutrogena sunscreen products recently - as I received a sample, and loved it. I am VERY cautious of what I put on my face, as I have very acne prone skin! This facial sunscreen is fabulous. It not only have a high SPF, but it's also a great moisturizer. It leaves your skin hydrated, and not oily at all.

Definitely recommended!

I have been on the quest for a good facial sunscreen and so far this is the best one I have bought.
It does not make my face look greasy or oily. Easy to put on with minimal rubbing, it blends into the skin quite nicely. It has not broken me out so far. And I have no problems applying my makeup afterwards. I also love that it has 45 spf protection. I'll continue to use this for a while.

I bought this sunscreen with high hopes. My facialist recommended it because of its light, liquidy consistency. It made my face breakout like crazy! As a sunscreen it did protect my face, but as something I would ever use again, I'm sad to say this product did not work for me. Also the high price for such a small size in comparison to other sunscreens turned me off.

I got the new product with SPF 60, and the fact that it's waterproof makes it perfect to wear for the beach, as it'll last pretty long and protect you from the harmful rays.
It's a non greasy and fast absorbing formula that's great alone or under makeup.

Finally a daily facial sunscreen that won't leave you looking greasy. Put it on under or without make up. It goes on as a liquid that absorbs completely leaving NO grease or product residue behind. You won't be skipping this very important step anymore.

I'm 40 years old and while I used to "bake" every Summer years ago, I do not tan my face at all now...haven't for about 3 years now. Younger ladies, take heed, the sun damage catches up to you, trust me, so take precautions now. I bought this to use in under my makeup in the spring/summer months. I do like the texture, it smooths on evenly and clear; however, I do find the smell a bit "beachy" for the office...I don't care for that obvious "I'm wearing sunscreen smell" except when at the beach. I feel that this sunscreen does protect my skin but honestly I don't reach for it often as my own foundation has an SPF 25 which I find is ok for being a office worker. I will take the Neutrogena on vacation with me though as I would enjoy the extra protection (that along with my big floppy hat!) while at the beach.

I purchased this product a while back, and used it a total of three times.
Normally, I do not like to apply sun screen on my face because of it's oiliness.
This product did no surprise me in any way. My face completely broke out, and my normally dry, matte skin turned oily on application.

This did work however, in sun protection, so anyone with unsensitive skin is recommended to try it

Neutrogena states that this sunscreen is 'water-light' and 'weightless'. While many reviewers here complain about this product being runny, I don't see how a sunscreen could be any richer or thicker and still be very light, so the consistency was not an issue for me. It is easy to apply and absorbs quickly. Yes, it does make skin somewhat white, but only for a minute. My skin felt a bit tingly after application of this sunscreen, but that also only lasted for a minute. I didn't experience any irritation or break-outs.

I have combination skin and I did not feel that this product provided adequate moisture to my dry areas; however it can be applied under moisturizer (many reviewers used it over moisturizer, contrary to the instructions on the package). I had hoped that this product would sufficiently moisturize so that I wouldn't have to use another product over top and add yet another layer with use of foundation. As far as being 'sweatproof', well, that simply was not the case for me. That was my biggest disappointment with this sunscreen.

The paba-free SPF 45 offers excellent sun protection.

Would I buy this product for myself? Not unless it is re-formulated to provide more moisture and at the same time be as sweatproof as possible. Would I recommend it to others? Perhaps to those with oily to normal skin or to people who don't mind having to top this with moisturizer and then, potentially, makeup.

I wish I received this product before I went on my 2 week vacation because it would've been the perfect time to test it out. But I found this after I got home and by then, I already have a nice tan on my face and I spend most of my days working indoors. So I did my best to give this product a fair shake.

One of my main criteria for a face product is the weight and consistency. For a sunscreen, I'd say Neutrogena did a nice job in that department. The product is runny, as some of the reviewers mentioned, but I like it because it makes it easier to apply and smooth all over the face. Also, it feels comparatively lighter than some of the other facial sunscreens I've tried. However, with the heat wave and humidity we've been getting, it's hard to make any sunscreen feel nice on the skin. As the day wore on, I didn't notice the heavy feeling of wearing a facial sunscreen and I didn't feel like my skin was clogged and couldn't breath. For that, I think I'd give it a 2-thumbs up!

After applying the sunscreen (over the daily moisterizer), I couldn't bring myself to wear another layer of make-up primer. So I simply applied my mineral powder foundation on top. The sunscreen was stickier than my Smashbox primer, so I used a little more foundation than I normally do, but the coverage was good and at the end of the day, my make-up stayed on with the sunscreen as well as it did with my Smashbox primer. So this sunscreen can definitely double as make-up primer in the summer.

As I said, I spent a lot of time indoors while testing this out, so I can't tell you if the SPF was effective. This sunscreen was more or less what I had expected from Neutrogena. I have used their other sunscreens before and have always been happy with the results. I'll definitely buy this again in the future since it is one of the better facial sunscreen I've used.
