I guess I'm one of the few that isnt sold on this product. Yes, at SPF 45 it is a very effective sun protection and the fragrance is much better than most sunblocks.....but I found it aborbed so quickly that it took quite abit to cover my face and neck properly. With such a small bottle I would be going through many bottles each season. Not economical for me. If it was half the price or twice the size for the same price then I would concider purchasing.

I havent had previous problems breaking out with facial sunscreen and this product follows suit. Same with never found a film or greasy issue under makeup - so no new benefit here.
I can name another product I prefer over this but since we're just reviewing Neutrogena, cant say ;)

Thanks chick advisor for letting me try this out. I've been using it everyday for the past two weeks, and I'm really pleased with this. This is amazing to wear under makeup. It's so light and my skin adsorbed it instantly. There is no trace of it when I put on my regular makeup,. It gave me no skin problems at all. It didn't clog any of my pores. The only minor problem that I had, is that if I rubbed it a little too close to my eyes it burned a little, but I just made sure to be extra careful. I really like the packaging. Since the consistency is watery, I like the bottle, it doesn't pour out too much liquid at once. In all, this is a great sunscreen. You can wear it under your makeup with no problem. I will be buying another bottle when this runs out !

This sunscreen. is amazing!!! I like the smell of it. I love the water-light texture. The texture is great and easy to use. I like the oil-free. Non shiny finish.

I have used countless different sunblocks for the face and body, and this new one from Neutrogena takes the cake - the name is appropriate - definitely a light-as-water texture to the sunscreen, and amazingly non-oily at all.
Great as a makeup base, and absorbs relatively quickly.

After hours of wearing it, no oily residue is formed, and skin feels comfortable. Not drying nor greasy.

I am still in search of the perfect physical (non-chemical) sunblock, but as far as chemical sunscreen products go, this one is #1.

Great price, excellent portability/size, amazingly light-weight texture and effectiveness.

Thank you Chick Advisor for giving me the oppurtunity to review Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45.
I have oily acne prone skin and I used the product for 5 days before posting this review.
I applied it on my face and then applied my makeup. My foundation went on smoothly on top of the sunscreen.
It is very lightweight and non-greasy unlike all other sunscreen products I have used.
It did not cause me to breakout. Normally my T-zone gets oily and I have to keep blotting my skin all day long. But with this product, my t-zone did not get oily and I did not have to blot my skin at all. The product works great on its own and for me it worked as a sunscreen, moisturizer and primer. It worked as a a moisturizer because it did not dry out my skin nor make my skin very oily. It worked as a primer because my makeup went on flawlessly on top of it. I feel like I got a 3-in one deal.
Since I started using this product, I haven't used any other mositurizer and primer. I will continue using this product on its own. I love it !!!!
My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey for its size. I wish it was available in a slightly larger sized bottle.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45 Rocks! This was the first product I was chosen to review by ChickAdvisor and it was amazing. It felt nice on the skin, not heavy at all. Was so happy with it that we shared it with friends of ours that we were going bicycling with. Beyond satisfied with the product and will definitely buy it. Hubby said for another sample, he would stand on the street corner and gladly promote it...lol....seriously, though he would. So would I. Perfect size to carry around. The scent is not overwhelming. Our skin felt nice all day. We're sold on this product. It's a keeper!

I really like this product!

It applies very well, and goes on evenly, much like a moisturizer. It blends better than any sunscreen I have tried. I applied it just before I put on my makeup, and it did not make my face greasy. In fact, I think it kind of served as a primer.

I love that there's no fragrance (or next to none!). Most sunscreens have a god awful smell. Either they smell like some weird combinations of chemicals, or like coconuts, which I can't stand since I associate it with sunscreen now. This had no fragrance at all.

I tested this out during the heat wave we just had. What better time to try it out? I'm a VERY pale person, so I typically burn in the sun even when I'm wearing SPF 70 and reapplying every 10 minutes. It's just my nature. I did not burn with Neutrogena's Face Sunscreen. Of course, my face got very greasy outside, bu it had to do with he 40 degree weather and not the sunscreen. It did not make me break out either.

This product is amazing compared to most facial sunscreens I have tried, which always seem to have a disgusting fragrance. And it's great that it's a nice portable size, so you can stash it in your purse and reapply when you've been outside for a long time!

I am very picky with my face sunscreen...most are way too greasy and do not work. I have been using this for about 7 days. Its perect for myself and my kids. I have a sensitive face when the sun hits. I usually have a rash...so far I am clear!

For the avg price of $15 it is well worth it. And effective sunscreen on a womens face hard to find , and this is the best I've tried. AND I have used alot of brands.

I already use several Neutrogena products, including Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 45 so I was thrilled to try the Daily Face Sunscreen. I absolutely LOVE IT!

Compared to other facial sunscreens,Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen is AMAZING. Most facial sunscreens are heavy, creamy and goopy. They go on way too thick, take a while to rub in and leave my face feeling greasy. Then there is that awful metallic sunscreen smell. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen is completely different.

The sunscreen itself is liquid rather than a thick cream, which allows it to go on light and smooth. It has a light, pleasant scent and DOES NOT smell like sunscreen! The product rubs into my skin easily and evenly. There is no greasy feeling and no left over residue on my skin. I am very confident my skin will be protected from the effects of the sun when I use this product.

I will definitely buy this product again and I will more than likely recommend this product to others.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Water-Light Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 45 is very lightweight and provides great sun protection. It is very similar to the Sofina Perfect UV Lucent sunscreen with the little ball inside that mixes everything and the liquid formula, but instead of costing $30 , it's $15 and sometimes on sale for around $10. I used to not like wearing sunscreen on my face because it feels heavy and greasy but this one is very light and dries completely! It almost has a powdery feel but isn't drying. I would recommend this to anyone looking facial sunscreen because it works well and is inexpensive.
