Perfect essential oil for body and home diffusers.

I like using oil burners in the house to create a relaxing and aromatic environment at home and I have a collection of essential oils to try different scents. I recently acquired an oil diffuser and as I love the smell of peppermint so I thought I could expand my essential oil collection.

The oil comes in a simple but sturdy cardboard box with a large (118ml) glass bottle and a dispensing pipette/dropper inside carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. The oil has a slight yellow colour, it has a light and fresh lemony smell with earthy undertones and it is not too strong or overpowering.

Peppermint essential oil gives a cooling sensation and has a calming effect on the body, which can relieve sore muscles when used topically. It also has antimicrobial properties so it can help freshen bad breath and soothe digestive issues. Peppermint essential oil’s scent invigorates the mind and senses, while inspiring a sense of peace. Used topically, peppermint oil creates a cool, tingling sensation on the skin, making it a favourite for sports massage. Peppermint oil is also recommended for its anti-nausea benefits and soothing effects on the gastric lining and colon because of its ability to reduce muscle spasms.

I love the light minty smell from this oil. There are so many uses to peppermint oil you are bound to find it useful for many things around the house. I am very pleased with this versatile oil. It is 100% natural peppermint oil from India and it is not tested on animals, which is very important to me. As the bottle is quite large and you only need a few drops each use this bottle will last a long time and it has a long shelf life too so I would recommend it.
