This works well and you don't have to use much. I live in a really dry climate. I typically put it in my hair and leave it in overnight. When I wash it the next morning my hair is soft and hydrated. The reason I didn't give it full stars is because I wish the results would last longer. I find I have to use it weekly in the winter time.

#1 - It is a little pricey but average in regards to other products at this level of quality

#2 - A little goes a long way, .. yep,, that's right, you might put out the money, but it lasts a long time.You only put in about a dime to quarter size on your hand depending on your hair thickness. A quarter size amount is the maximum I would personally recommend no matter how think your hair is.

#3- It doesn't create a film on your hair, it actually does penetrate your hair cuticle to repair it from the inside out. Make sure to not apply directly to roots, as it is not necessary for one, and it can give an oily appearance to and will take any volume away. A little is okay, but as it is best for mid-lengths to end of your hair.

A tip for applying, it drop amount into palm of your hand, rub our hands together as if applying hand lotion, then finger through your hair and squeeze your hands against your end lengths of your hair putting the most of the product there.

Being of mixed race ethnicity, it is often difficult to find products that balance effectiveness with light-weight durability. My hair is frizzy and prone to breakage, but not so thick that heavy oils won't weigh it down. Nexus Pro-Mend Leave-In Treatment is a great hair lotion for softening and managing the hair, however, it did not bind my split ends, just made them easier to brush through. I would recommend this product to help split ends of people with thinner hair (caucasian/asian), but maybe not for thicker-haired individuals (mixed race/black).

Nexxus is good and does leave my hair detangled and soft... I really love it.. except it is on the pricey side!! so can't buy often!!!

i bought it when it went on sale for 9.99 i wasnt sure if it would work or not but it really proved me wrong it really works after applying it on my towel dried hair when i style it i really felt like i just had a fresh cut it immediately took care of my split ends i give it 2 thumbs up

I picked up the leave in at my local CVS. It was sold out everywhere else and I scored the last box at the store. It was a bit pricey, but for great hair it was worth it. It does not leave a greasy film on your hair when it is in. I have very fine hair, and it did not weigh it down. Blowing out my hair it seemed to do as it had claimed and maked it all look a bit smoother and more polished.
