I was lucky enough to use Nexxus Therappe Caviar Complex Shampoo while visiting with a friend this summer. I am usually skeptical of using brands other than the one I normally use because I have fine, very finicky hair and am usually disappointed with the results (or lack thereof).

However as soon as I opened the cap for a sniff, caution flew out the window and I decided to use it. I am glad I did! I know it takes longer than a few days to see real results but 2 shampoos in I was in love with it and the way it didn't cause my hair to be all flyaways and frizz!

Having coloured hair that feels straw like at times this shampoo and conditioner duo hydrates my hair to feel normal again.

I usually use Clinaderm for my sensitive scalp tp wash my hair, but decided to use this product instead as I got it as a free sample from the #ChickAdvisorTOElevateLounge. WOW! I was so wrong to use it!!! It made my hair fall out and an itchy redness developed on my scalp. I'm going back to my Clinaderm!

Nexxus is a great brand with a wide range of great products and the Therappe Caviar Complex Shampoo is one. Leaves your hair soft and not stripped like some shampoos.

This product made my hair very soft and flowly afterwards. I liked the smell but I wish it didn't have so many chemicals in it. I'll only use this product every so often but it is quite nice.

I liked the product. Used it in combination with Nexxus conditioner. Doesnt require too much of product per use, easy to wash out, smells nice. Hair looked good after use. Nothing too special about the product though, probably wouldn't spend extra for it.
But then again, I have used it only once so far.

I got a sample of Nexxus Therapee Caviar Complex Shampoo at #ElevateLoungeTO. I had never tried Nexxus products before, partly due to price and them rarely being on sale, but also due to previously negative experiences with main stream brand hair care products. So many main stream products make big promises they do not deliver on, and often left a film on my scalp, making my hair dry, and leaving my head dry, flakey, and extremely itchy!

I am SO EXCITED to positively review this product!! When I first applied it to my hair, I was shocked to realize that I did not need nearly as much as I would typically use! I have long wavy/curly hair, so it's typically not unusual to have hand-full globs of product! Applying half of the amount I would typically use, I already felt the softness in my hair! Typically, applying shampoo leaves my hair full of suds, and working it through made my hair feel extremely dry, and basically like a rats nest full of knots! This would require my to apply globs of conditioner! Using conditioner wasn't primarily about helping my hair so much as it was just giving me the opportunity to get a comb through it to get the knots out! Because the shampoo didn't dry out my hair so badly, it remained manageable! I only required half the amount of conditioner that I would typically use, there wasn't any knots, and I didn't need to brush it at all while it was still wet!!

My hair was already soft and manageable before applying the Nexxus conditioner! I was worried about the softness as this typically would result in my hair being poofy, frizzy, and unmanageable, requiring more products, especially on high humidity days! I allowed my hair to air dry and was completely shocked by the result!! I used no additional product, and my hair was soft, silky, so much lighter than it usually is, absolutely no frizz, super shiny and healthy looking, and enhanced colour that not only showed off my highlights, but actually looked like I had several different shades of highlights and low-lights! It enhanced the died colour, but actually made it appear like my normal hair colour!

Additionally, I would typically wash my hair twice a week due to it becoming heavy, frizzy, greasy, dull.. It's been a week since trying this item, and not only does my hair still look like it was just washed, but it still behaves like it was just washed!! It's completely manageable, not greasy, not flakey or itchy, still light weight, and still very shiny!!

I didn't use any additional products this week! I didn't even need to use any additional items or oil to straighten my hair a few days ago, several days after washing it! Additionally, straightening my hair left it so soft and shiny, and it didn't make crackling sounds as if my hair was burning, like it usually does with oils!

I will absolutely be purchasing this item again, and am so excited to try the different items Nexxus has on the market!

This is one item where the higher price actually reflects the higher quality of product!!
