My daughter has one, actually has had one for 4 years. It is the hot pink one.it is so fun and easy to use. We have played Zelda, Mario and donkey Kong along with some other games. My favourite is probably Mario. It is school because you can take it anywhere, it's definitely a boredom buster. We take it for long rides and it kills the time for my ten year old and now my five year old. The games are so cheap now. We go to local pawn shops and they are like 5 to 10 bucks a piece. Depending on the quality of the game. The graphics are really good and it's fun to play around with the stylus pen. I'm probably going to have to buy my 5 year old one because .my daughter does not like sharing lol
Its a great device for your kids on the go! It keeps them distracted and is great for any age group! would definitely recommend this for parents that have problems keeping kids quiet in the car :))
My son have it, it is not that fun as Xbox, but when you are travelling or outside for long times defiantly it is a good thing to keep your kids busy and it has some fun games too.
My eldest daughter has long outgrown this however my younger daughter keeps it in the car now for road trips and she loves it. It is still relevent and you can hook up the internet and play with others online. Still advanced technology and a lot of fun to help kids pass time and work on their fine motor skills as well. I have used this at work with patients who need help recovering from brain injuries. It helps them many ranges of things including dexterity, thinking and processing skills and fine motor skills. I think most kids still love this and there are still tons of games out there suited for every audience. Worth the money.
I still have mine and still use it on a daily basis ! At first I wasn't too sure about the dual screen, but after awhile, you get used to it. What I love about my ds lite, is that mine can support my old Gameboy Advance game cartridges ! So I have extra options for games !
My 10 year old begged for one of these and I eventually caved and got her one
For her birthday. She saved up her allowance and got herself a plethora of games suites to her. That lasted about 2-3 months and it became a dust collector. Now... I can't give the thing away. These comforting. With technology changing every single second we tend to make electronics obsoletes before its reaches the entire public audience.
I used this growing up and it was like my iPod touch. I played all my games on it and my favourite part was decorating it to make it feel personalized. Buy it. You won't regret it.
i really did love this, i still occasionally pull it out and play some of the games when im really bored, the only problem was the bottom touch screen sometimes wouldnt work properly so it would be annoying
Me ans my sister got one for Christmas ans we loved it. Definitely worth buying. You can take it on the road with you it doesn't take up much room in your bag or purse even. Battery lastes for a long time too.
My kids both had these and really liked them but after a year the games stopped working so we bought a newer version. My 3 year old messes around with it now. The main thing they liked to use it for was pictures and drawing. Something's can be complicated depending on the users age. We had some trouble conecting it to our network
