The Nintendo DS Lite is great for younger kids. We had 3 of these at home and the kids and adults used them all the time but unfortunetaly, it has done it's time in our house. It was great for our road trips and keep everyone occupied without fighting.
I think if you have young kids, this is a great game to own but as soon as your kids get older, they all want the nicer, cooler and bigger machines lol

As for charging, I find it lasted a pretty long time without needing to be charged so again, was great for long road trips.

This game console is amazing. I have over 15 games.
I may have to purchase another one because I misplaced my original one.

My son is autistic and owns two of these. I bought two incase he breaks one. But after many drops they are still going strong. He loves the games and the fact he can take pictures.

Great gaming device. Small, portable, and with a variety of games to keep everyone entertained!

I had this DS but after I got the 3DS XL, I don't think i can go back to this one because of the smaller screen size.

One of the best handhelds to hit the market since the first gen. It has reverse capabilities which allows for gameboy advance and gameboy advance sp cartridges to be used and it is extremely fun. These devices have something for everyone but sometimes had connection issues.

I love this product! I got it first when it came out and there are many fun games for it. It is great for long car rides.

volume doesn't go very loud. The graphics are so poor compared to the new Nintendo 3ds. The games are too hard for my 7 year old to play.
