This little gem charges the Wii remotes by lying them on the mat and having the top of the wiimote touch the rubber jobbie. The pad holds two wiimotes at one time. We owned another stand up charger...it was a piece of crap in no time. We just love the aircharge inductor....it's holding up to the test of time.
