My kids have had one for a few years now, they love it. Even when my youngest was 4 years old she could play it. I would recommend buying one. It is fun for the whole family to play! They like making their avatars of themselves and the rest of the family :)

I got this about 5-6 years ago and still works great. My kids now 4 and 2 love to play it on Sundays during family game day.

I love the Wii... Its fun to watch the kids play Mario, and when they go to bed, the husband and I play. Even sometimes have friends come over for a game of Mario Party 9 LOL

It's an older-generation system now (new/current gen. systems include: PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U), and the Wii U actually is backwards compatible with all Wii games (meaning any Wii game can be played on the new Wii U), so it may be better to wait for a sale on the new Wii U to allow you to both play new and old games.

Nevertheless, if you can find a Wii for a decent price, it can definitely still be worthwhile. It's a great party system and while some may consider it somewhat obsolete now, the Wii can be great to have as backup entertainment at the cottage or even on vacation/in the hotel.

I bought this for my kids and it was the best purchase I made, not only can they play their games on it but they can watch Netflix on it. Would of been nice if it played movie dvd's, or cd's.

Ok we LOVE our Wii it is sooo great it gets you up and moving and really puts you into the game and we love how you can make yourself and others into characters on it we even made our pets into one. I find it does a really good job on giving you a full body workout without having to go to the gym you just really need to make sure you have lots of room for all too play! We love all the games i can find many for all types of ages but i think the most popular is the dance games everyone has a great time with those! I recommend that everyone should get one just so they can get off the couch and get moving at the same time having lots of fun! :-)

The Nintendo Wii is a great family gaming console. The kids will love it and the adults will too. There are a few good titles aimed at adults and classic titles from beloved franchises like Mario and Zelda. The motion sense technology was very innovative for the time and it is still very fun. There are tons of great games for the system and you can download old classics from the virtual console. Very fun console system!

We love our Wii and all the Games you can find for it. My son plays it daily. I love that netflix is available on. Was very disappointed to find out that it does not play DVD movies on it.
