We loved our wii at first. But it's being used less and less often. Having to switch out , and buy the different attachments can get pretty pricey too.
Whenever the Wii first came out, we drove all over our city and surrounding area to find one, we finally found one, played it for one full week, and we havent played it since, needless to say its just collecting dust.
Well, it's been a long while since we bought our Wii system. We got it back when they were still a fortune and on the front page of every flyer LOL!
I have to say though, of all the video game fads my kids have gone through, the Wii is the only one that still holds strong in this house. It is used every day to check weather, use Netflix, play a game or listen to music.. Durability? Oh YEAH! I have 3 children all under the age of 10, this Wii has seen some brutal days! The controllers still work (despite hitting the walls and floor a million times).. Even though we paid a lot for this system in the beginning compared to prices now, it was still worth every penny.
It's not too often something can be brought into the home that everyone can find a use for - but the Wii sure has!
If anyone asks what game system I recommend - it's always the Wii. Way to go Nintendo! :0)
Wii was the first and only game console I have ever bought my son who is 8 now (he was 4 when we got it). The system is awesome and easy to use. He has been attached to it since getting it. We got mario cart and another games with it for free. WE bought a few Wheels for the controllers which make the racing games even better! Bonus part with the wii is we can play games we had form our game cube from when my husband was a kid. I love that you can buy different covers for the controllers that way we each have our own one which makes sharing easier with my kids. We also purchased the wii fit board which has proven to pay for itself over and over. there are so many games that you can use the board for like snowboarding, skateboarding and winter sports games. Its fun for the whole family no matter your age. I highly recommend this product to everyone!!!
we love our wii, especially the wii fit, during the winter here on PEI it helps keep us in (relatively) good shape. We did play a few games but now just trot it out at appropriate parties or for houseguests. We have just installed NETFLIX on it and I can only say WOW!
I've had the Wii for about 4 years now and I can honestly say I still love it! I started using it recently as part of my exercise regime and I've lost 65 lb in 6 months so it's obviously working! I love the interactive games like DDR, Just Dance, Extreme Challenge & Wii Fit. The games that get you moving are definitely the best!
Well....we had to have a WII for Christmas...its now almost May 5 months into our WII and I must say for our family, sadly the novelty has worn off. Its great family entertainment and there are so many games to choose from. But for us Im not sure it was worth the money.
Our family loves the Wii ... keeps us in shape and with sooooo many games ... there's games for our son, my husband AND me!
