I tried the Nivea 2 in 1 moisturizing primer dry to sensitive skin for free from chick advisor & I really liked this product! It smells good and is not greasy at all. It made my skin feel soft & smooth. My makeup went on great over top! The only negative thing personally for me was I found my skin felt a little tight which is usually from not enough hydration. Other than that this product worked great for me!
NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry to Sensitive Skin works well under my makeup and kept my skin moist all day! Since I #gotitfree, I decided to try it out over several days to see how effective it is. I normally have to put on moisturizing cream before I put on makeup and other primer, but since the Nivea primer is quite moisturizing, I only need to put on one layer of cream. Because this is a primer type of cream, it doesn't get too oily even after the whole day out. The cream is super light weight does not feel sticky on my skin at all. My makeup goes smoothly on top of this primer too! The price is also quite affordable which means I can slap on more cream if i need to! I would recommend this as opposed to some of the more expensive primers out.
Love the Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for dry to sensitive skin! My foundation applies really smooth on top of the primer. It is moisturizing and has a slight silicone feel. It has a slight scent which didn't irritate my skin. However, it doesn't really blur your pores. It also didn't seem to prolong the wear of my makeup.
Really felt nice to put something on my face that made my skin moisturized and I could put make up over top of it without my skin drying out. I didn't have to add any lotion on my face for the entire day!!!!
I finally #gotitfree in the mail yesterday and was able to test the product. I like how soft the texture feels on my skin and it works well as a primer for my makeup! It created a nice even and luminescent base for my foundation and concealer. Additionally, it's not sticky or too thick, but just the way I like it. One thing I would change would maybe be the scent of the product, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member!
So far I've tried this about 5 times, the primer aspect is quite nice, it definitely helps with my daily routine of tinted moisturizer and concealer; the one MAJOR downside to this product that I personally do not like is how fragrant the primer is!! Generally products that are formulated for sensitive skin, one of the biggest reactors is fragrance! It would've been great if there was maybe half to no actual fragrance to this product, I would have recommended it but since the smell is quite strong and off-putting I would have to say no, this is not worth buying. Nivea, please tone down on the fragrance on your products if you're trying to market to the sensitive skin market!
I got the product free from ChickAdviser. I haven't had much time to try Nivea 2 in 1 Moisturizing Primer Dry to Sensitive skin as it arrived past the review due date and will need to try it longer before I decide if I buy it again. My first impressions: the cream has a thinner consistency and applies very easily. It smells lightly of perfume which I personally like. It absorbs quickly, allowing me to apply makeup with little wait time and the makeup goes on easily with a smooth finish. My makeup never lasts till the end of the day, but with Nivea 2 in 1 Moisturizing Primer it did! I am not sure about the moisturizing part though. I live in windy Southern Alberta and my skin gets quite dry - I find that without using my normal moisturizer my skin feels quite tight.

Nivea 2-in-1 moisturizing primer dry to sensitive skin was a great product to use on my face before applying my daily makeup. It glides on easily with a nice cooling effect and absorbs quickly. I didn't love the smell, which was flowery but almost unnatural. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I liked that it helped my makeup slide on easily and it seemed to blend a lot better. I didn't notice that my makeup looked any fresher at the end of the day with this product compared to using just my regular moisturizer on my face. I'd probably purchase this product again and recommend to any friends with sensitive to dry skin types. #gotitfree from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.
I received this product to try through the review club.
I was excited to try this product because this time of year my skin gets so dry.
This cream dried right away, so you could apply your make up right after using it.
It's definitely a great base for make up. It claims to help make up last longer, I really didn't notice a difference when it came to that aspect.
The fragrance was a little stronger than most facial moisturizers, but it smelled nice so I didn't mind, but if you're sensitive to fragrances you might find it bothers you.
Thanks to ChickAdvisor, I got to try the Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry to Sensitive Skin for free!
My skin requires lots of moisture during the colder months, so it was wonderful to see a moisturizer and primer in one from Nivea. Upon opening the jar, the moisturizer looked thick. However, when I scooped some out of the jar I found it to be rather thin (it is a cream-gel after all). I went ahead and applied it to my face anyways. It spread with ease and it absorbed into my skin fairly quickly which is great. After the product dried, I touched my face and found it moisturized my skin but not as much as I had hoped. I applied my makeup as usual and went about my day. At the end of the day my makeup still looked pretty good and my face didn't look oily/shiny nor did it look dry/flaky. I did not experience any kind of irritation using this product.
I am not a fan of the scent as I find it to be too strong. It's got a strong floral type scent and it's not something I want to smell all day.
Overall, it's a pretty decent drugstore primer.
