Nivea 2in1 moisturizing primer for dry to sensitive skin has the perfect consistency for a light weight moisturizer under make up, but it's a total miss as a primer.
I like the gel formula, it works well in a thin layer under makeup, but has none of the qualities that I would expect for a make up primer. I didn't experience anything special with this product. Minimal moisturizing quality, doesn't match my particular needs as I have very dry skin. I think something more affordable would be just as effective though. It's nice to find something that's so light weight that it won't interfere with make applied afterward, but I'm not sure if I didn't let it dry or set long enough, or maybe used too much, there were a couple of instances that my make up "pilled" or rolled off when applied. I HATE it when this happens. Much of the time when using more than one product I find that this occurs. After the first couple of times without this problem, I thought I had finally found something that wouldn't react this way, but unfortunately there were definitely a couple of times when it did.. It feels like by applying one product over another, you're basically removing the first layer when applying the second. I tried the product with three different types of foundation, and there were no differences unfortunately. I like it on it's own, doesn't exactly leave my skin looking matte, but not an oil slick either. Always appreciate the opportunity to try something like this for free! Thanks Chick Advisor!!

This primer was a lifesaver for my makeup routine and dry skin, especially during exam time.

I'm in the midst of exams at the moment and I have no time, especially to do a full skincare routine to prime my face for makeup. This, as well as the 3-in-1 Micellar water, has been wonderful to get my skin makeup-ready. I also struggle with extremely dry skin so I NEED as much moisture as possible so my makeup doesn't get that bumpy dry look. I thought this product was extremely effective for that and I plan on using the whole thing and repurchasing. I have sensitive skin, and I had no issues with this product.

Despite the fact that I #gotitfree as part of the Chick Advisor product review club, I would recommend this product to anyone as a GREAT option for a primer for people with dry skin.

NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer Dry to Sensitive skin is a very good moisturizer and primer in one that makes it easier to apply foundation smoothly and consistently!

I was lucky to try the moisturizing primer as at part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have dry skin and I like that this product moisturizes well on top of providing a smooth and consistent base so my foundation can be applied perfectly. I also like that it makes a 2-step process to 1-step process. Applying primer separately is a hassle for me at times and sometimes I do skip this step because I'm in a rush. This product definitely saves you time when you get ready in the morning.

Overall, I would recommend the moisturizing primer!

I got the moisturizing primer through the chickadvisor panel. I found the moisturizer had a nice scent and went on smoothly. It provided a good base for everyday makeup. It's nice to be able to skip a step in the mornings. However, I'd still use primer for a night out event.

This is a good moisturizer that has a dual purpose as a primer. It has a very light scent and didn't irritate sensitive skin. Absorbing quickly it is easy to apply before putting makeup on.
I think it helped for smoother application of my makeup.

Nivea 2 in 1 primer and moisturizer for sensitive skin is the best I have ever used! I have very dry sensitive skin and during the winter my forehead actually started looking flaky :( I tried numerous different lotions and nothing worked. I received this 2 in 1 primer and immediately noticed a huge difference and a short time later my dryness was completely gone. Just amazing. It did not leave me feeling oily or greasy after either and is very light feeling. Creates a great base for make up as well. My skin felt very smooth after every application. Will definitely be getting more when I run out. Highly recommend.

The Nivea primer was nice and light which allowed it to absorb quickly and I was able to immediately apply my makeup. The scent was nice and fresh smelling, the only downside was that it didn't effectively hydrate my dry skin

I enjoyed the light consistency of this primer, similar to a thin moisturizer. It absorbed quickly and didn't leave my skin feeling greasy.

It worked well with and without makeup, specifically as a primer for the odd day when I wear foundation. The scent wasn't overpowering.
