ChickAdvisor gave me the opportunity to try the Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry to Sensitive Skin for free. I was grateful to try the product but it is not one that I will be repurchasing for myself. I'm not even sure if I will continue using the product until it is used up.
I did not find the product to be effective for dry skin. It absorbed into the skin almost immediately and left dry patches on my face when I applied a BB cream or foundation over it. I tried using a moisturizer and then applying the primer and that helped a bit but it added an extra, unnecessary step. I have found my go-to primer that is more effective for dry skin so I'll be sticking to that.
The product also comes in a tub rather than the typical squeeze tube that primers come in so that takes some getting used to as well.
The product did also have a faint scent so if you are looking for an unscented product then I'd skip this one.
NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer Dry to Sensitive Skin is a really great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive and dry skin. It makes my skin soft and moisturized. I'm a big fan of Nivea products but I tried the cream first time in my life and I will definetly switch from orginal one to sensitive version.
I received this product for free to review thanks to ChickAdvisor. Unfortunately the 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer does not moisturize my skin at all. This moisturizer has a very liquid consistency and absorbs into my skin right away. This may be good in the summer, but currently in the cold weather, I found myself applying it 2-3x to feel it take affect. I also did not notice any difference as a primer. The packaging is beautiful and the scent is very light but unfortunately this kept my face feeling very dry so I would not be purchasing this.
I find it's an okay primer, not the best that I've used and not the worst.
Positive:
Hydrating
Does smooth out the skin
Reduces the visibility of most of my pores
Foundation around my nose did last longer compared to without a primer
Negative:
I would much prefer a squeeze tube

I have had the chance to try the Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry to Sensitive skin courtesy of ChickAdvisor. #gotitfree
The package didn't arrive until after the due date for the review, so I haven't had the chance to use it as much as I like, but here are my thoughts:
1. The primer has a nice pleasant scent. It doesn't annoy me as some heavily scented facial products can.
2. It goes on very nicely on the skin and does a good job of moisturizing.
3. My makeup seems to "stick" to my face better with this primer on. My skin looks smoother after I have applied the primer and foundation.
4. I really like that it's a 2-in-1 product so that I can skip a step when I am rushing to get ready in the mornings.
I think that this is good, effective product that gives the same results as more expensive primers do at half the price.
NIVEA 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer for Dry Skin, although I enjoyed the texture, left my skin dry.
I LOVE the idea of this product - having your moisturizer also prime your face? It's an absolute dream. I am the queen of moisturizing - I have always had dry skin however I was definitely worried this product would not be moisturizing enough for me and sadly this was the case (the dryness seemed to be mostly around my nose). I did not notice any improvement in the staying power of my makeup, however as I do not have oily skin this isn't a normal problem for me and I usually only use primer for special occasions as opposed to for everyday wear.
If you're interested in trying out this product, I would suggest you go for it so long as you don't have dry skin issues like me!

I was excited to try this product when I received it from the Product Review Club to try for free. I have tried many Nivea products in the past and I really liked them. I love that this product is both a moisturizer and a primer so I can eliminate one product from my skincare/makeup regimen altogether. It's very light and applies smoothly on my skin. It has a nice light scent. My makeup looks great on top of this and lasts pretty well all day. It's not sticky at all and absorbs quickly. I think this is a great product and I will continue to use it! The one thing I would change, though, is the packaging. I am not a fan of jars and would love this in a bottle with a pump. But that's just aesthetics... I'm still a fan of this product! I would definitely repurchase this.
Opened the package and the first thing I noticed was that it didn't have a strong fragrance. I loved that it was light in smell as I don't like putting creams on with a strong perfume.
While I don't think it co weed as a primer on top of a moisturizer it does cover well and a little goes a long way.
My face felt smooth as silk and all dry patches were instantly gone.
It dried quickly and didn't leave my skin tacky or sticky.
Packaging was simple but clean and easy to open.
This is a fantastic moisturizer. I'd definitely buy it again.
I received this for my unbiased opinion.

#NIVEAMustHaves , #gotitfree
