I gave this a try but somehow either it was my skin type or the time of year that it didn't go so well for me under my make up as I expected. It started to clump up with the make up foundation I was using even after I let the moisturizer primer dry before applying my make up. I did use it without my make up and seemed fine but honestly didn't notice any change of my skin. I have used a lot of Nivea products but this one just wasn't made for me I guess. Want to really thank Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity of trying this product. #gotitfree

My makeup lasted all day when using this as a base. Highly recommend! Since my skin is a little on the dry side I made sure to use my skin oils first and then put this on top. Worked great!

I am impressed with this moisturizer when used as intended. It kept my skin feeling really hydrated and my makeup did stay on better and looked smoother. I did use it once on its own and it left my skin feeling a little bit sticky. I don't think I would use this on its own, but as a primer, thumbs up.

J'ai essayé la base hydratante 2 en 1 de Nivea pour peau normale. La base pénètre bien la peau, ne laisse pas de fini gras. J'ai bien aimé le fini qu'elle laisse sur la peau, parfaite sous le maquillage. Je le recommande.

recieved the nivea primer from Chickadvisor for review #gotitfree #nivea #chickadvisor. I have normal to combination skin which tends to be quite dry in the harsh winters of Canada. So im always on the lookout for good moisturisers that would stay put underneath my makeup without messing it up. When I got the chance to review the Nivea primer I was very excited because im an avid lover of nivea products in general. The primer smells good to me but might be too strong for some people. Its a nice gel formula which spreads on easily. I dont like to dip the fingers in the tub so I would have rather prefered a tube for easy and sanitary usage. Anyhow I like hows its a 2-step process into 1-step. Usually i skip the primer because of time but this product is two in one so a time saver. I apply the primer and let it soak for 5-7 minutes and then apply my powder foundation on top. Gives a good hold and overall finish. I have also used this under foundation but it gives a somewhat creasy/flaky loom after few hrs. So this would be good to use in winter but not in summers. Overall a good product i reach out for more often when using powders. Doesnt break me out or cause any irritation. Good value for money and a nice product for dry skin to normal skin.

smooth on skin n effective on skin .. i like nivea product ,,they are loight in skin n mossturies it perfectley .. very nice for dry skin.. suitable for all skin n cost effective as well .

Really liked this and would buy. It eliminated the oily look and feel after a day of wear that my normal primers give me. A true matte finish which was nice!

I felt like it sunk into the skin and truly primed my face. I've tried lots of primers, from silicone to liquids and creams and I honestly think this one is the best. I'm really glad I got to try it.

I have to say this review took me a long time to write. I really had conflicting issues with this product and, just wanted to make sure not to judge it too harshly. The biggest issue I have with this product is the smell of the Nivea 2 in 1 Primer (I received for regular skin) it just smells SOOOOOOOOO BAD !!!!!! It smells like an old grand-ma's perfume, my boyfriend too taught the samething when I was using it so... it turned me off right there but, I couldn't evaluate the product based on this sole opinion. At that point, I decided to stop using the product for 2-3 days because I was really turned off by the smell, it made me just feel nautious and, self conftious. I restarted using it after taking a break... The results that I have are made upon long reflection and, analysis instead of first opinions. The product does what it states to an extend: instantly absorbs to hydrate however I can't state it smoothes skin to make a perfect slate for makeup. I've used other primers before and, the texture wasn't really like this one... this one had more of a hydrating cream texture and, effect. Other primers will give you the smoothe skin effect so that your makeup is on a perfect slate (diminish fine lines, etc.). However I still have to admit that my face did seem better looking with my makeup on but, for a primer... the results could've been better. It did also increase the time my makeup stayed put but, not significantly enough. I have regular skin and, it isn't sensitive but, at times I did feel like this primer was stining my face slightly... I'm figuring it might be because of the amount of perfume within this product but, can't confirm this for sure.

With this I also received the 3 in 1 Micellar water: for makeup removal (this was for sensitive skins). I enjoyed the smell of the product and, it worked very efficiently at removing my makeup The only issue I found with this product is that it tended to dry out my skin therefore having received the moisturizing primer just neutralized this effect as, my skin was being moisturized before being dried out.


For the price, it is worth the purchase but, I would rather splurge a tad more and, get a product with much more efficientcy.

Je n'ai pas aimé ce produit immédiatement. En effet, au début, je devais toujours remettre une couche de crème car mon visage restait toujours sèche, mais plus les jours avançaient et plus ça fonctionnait. Par contre, lors d'une application juste avant de mettre du fond de teint, la crème était fidèle à son effet ''primer''. De plus, elle s'applique très bien et n'est pas du tout collante. Donc, je le conseillerais pour quelqu'un qui se maquille souvent, mais pas nécessairement pour une personne qui se maquille peu ou pas. Personnellement, je ne sais pas si je la rachèterais car c'est important pour moi d'avoir une crème qui hydrate bien en une application, ce que cette crème ne fait pas vraiment.
