Huge tub, great basic cream!
I like this cream I received a coupon from ChickAdvisor and was shocked at just how large the tub is. It's a great cream to use post shower. I usually apply it on my legs and/or feet.
smells great but doesn't overpower
Although I usually try to avoid products with mineral oil in it ( this one has alot) I really do love the smell and it doesn't overpower or give me a headache like most scented creams do. moisturizes exactly like it says it does and overal is a great product if you are looking for something to hold in moisture.
It smells so good!
I was pleasantly surprised when I received a coupon from Nivea in the mail through ChickAdvisor to try and review the Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream. First off, I have to say that I absolutely love the smell of the coconuts. It reminds me of my childhood and there was a sun tan lotion we used and it smelled like coconuts. The lotion is rich and creamy. When you smooth it on, it blends right in and it's not greasy. I would recommend it. #gotitfree Thank you Nivea and ChickAdvisor.
Pas mon premier choix
J'ai bien aimé le format du produit ainsi que son odeur mais, par contre, j'ai trouvé qu'elle restait beaucoup en surface. Je n'ai pas trouvé que c'était suffisamment hydratant pour mon type de peau. #gotitfree
It's okay
This product has a nice mild scent. It is quickly absorbed into my skin and is non greasy. It did a very good job in keeping my skin moisturized (but not for 48 hrs as it claims). The one thing I do not like about this product is the fact that it comes in a jar. I am not a fan of products that come in a jar, I prefer the pump or tube. Thank you ChickAdvisor for providing me a full-value coupon for NIVEA Cocoa Butter Body Cream, in exchange for an honest review. #gotitfree.
I would buy again if on sale.
I got this free in exchange for an honest review.
First, I love the smell!
The size of the tub is great - will last for months. The lotion isn't greasy, absorbs really well.
My skin felt smooth and moisturized without being sticky.
A+ product, but the price is a little high. That said, I would buy it if on sale or I have a coupon.
Some Good and Some Bad
I received a coupon to try this product for free in exchange for my review.
The Good:
- came in a very generous size
- easy to use
- moisturizing
The Bad:
- scent a little too strong for me (coconut)
- not rich enough for my dehydrated skin
The Ugly:
- had a tendency to ball up on the skin if I wasn't careful about amount used
Overall it was a decent product, but I probably would not purchase it myself unless there was an unscented version.
Good, but pricey
I appreciated the opportunity to try this for free from Chick Advisor and Nivea.
The cream itself is thick, exactly what I would expect from a true body cream. It feels great on the skin and moisturized my dry legs very well. The formula isnt greasy at all.
The scent, while not overpowering, was just okay. There was almost a tangy undertone to it, which I didn't expect with a cocoa butter.
I felt the price - $12.99 - was higher than I would typically pay too. Similar products by competitors sell for less. In addition, the packaging felt really cheap. Flimsy plastic with a sticker slapped on the top is not something I expected at this price point.
Product delivers exactly what it advertises, but from a price and scent standpoint I don't think I would purchase it in the future.
Moisturizing
I received a free product coupon compliments of ChickAdvisor to try this body cream for free.
This body cream smells amazing and has a nice thick consistency. It's easy to apply, non-greasy and absorbs well. Left my skin feeling soft. The jar was bigger than I expected which was a great thing. Unfortunately the price is a bit steep, at my local Zehrs for $12.49. I'd probably only purchase this unless I had a decent coupon or if it was on sale for a good price.
Pretty good
I received this to try from chickadvisor for free. Generally i dont like nivea products, they are usually heavily scented but this wasnt bad, not a strong smell once applied, used it mainly on my dry areas; elbows knees and legs, i always have the dry flaky legs but this got rid of it for sure. Not sure id fork out for this as its pretty expensive think it was $12 ish to buy, unless that i read that it was fantastic, i would if it was $6.
