i love Nivea Cocoa Butter!!

Thank you Chick Advisor for the free coupon!! But I had to pay the taxes!!! Neverhteless I love this product! It smells so good and the jar is huge!! Its a 439g jar! I love the creamy texture and its luxurious softness!!! Go out and get it now!!!

Great product - until you read the ingredient list.

I am always excited to try products through Chickadvisor and give my honest opinion and this was no exception. I like Nivea as a brand and was looking forward to this product. When I brought it home my first smell took me back to being a teen in the 90's and slathering on cocoa butter cream after tanning, we used to get big cheap jars of the stuff. I like the smell of cocoa butter and it was nice and thick and creamy. It does moisturize well and if you aren't picky about what is in the product than this is for you. My issue with it is that the second ingredient (after water) is mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petroleum product. With all the lovely plant based oils (some that have a bit in this like coconut oil and cocoa butter) I would much prefer to be using that on my body rather than a petroleum product. It is safe and won't kill you but it does clog pores and there are far better oils to use for your skin.

Thank you so much Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity to try this product. This body cream goes on so nicely, it smells amazing and leaves a non greasy feel. I love using it after I hop out of the shower, it leaves my skin so soft and that light smell of cocoa butter is just divine.

This product is good.

I got this product for free with a coupon I received. I like this cream. My skin is soft with it. But I don't like the size of the product. It is too big. If I didn't have a coupon, I would not have bought it. And it is quite expensive. It smells good but it smells a lot.

Definitely buying this product again.

It moisturizes your skin perfectly. It hydrated my skin and made it soo smooth. Skin feels so silky. Just a little bit of this body cream is enough. Its long lasting. And it smells great. Thumbs up nivea!! You never fail to satisfy our needs!

Nice smell, skin feels great

I got my free jar of body cream. It smells great, just like coconuts. Feels good on skin, soaks in nicely. Kind of pricey for Nivea but it is nice. Skin feels good and my whole bathroom smells like it even hours later

Fantastic moisurizer

Oh, how I love this moisturizer!

NIVEA Cocoa Butter Body Cream packs a whole lot of moisture into a light, airy non-greasy formulation. The cocoa butter scent isn't overpowering and I love the way my skin looks and feels. Long-lasting body cream that I will certainly purchase again.

Nivea always a great product

Nivea always has great products and this one is no different, great moisture and consistency. The smell is great it's not over powering but a nice cocoa sent.

Potent moisturizer, nice smell

I love the smell and texture of this moisturizer. It's potent enough to moisturize my (quite dry) legs and feet. The texture is light, like a souffle, which makes it very easy to apply.

Heavy moisturizing benefits without the heavy lotions.

Like many others who have reviewed I received a coupon for this product. I was a little disheartened to find that it retailed for $17 regularly at the Shoppers Drugmart's in my area, however was on sale for $12.69. I decided I'd check at the local Walmart as well where it sold for about $13 for the same 439g container.

At first glance at the container I was a little annoyed as I can be a bit sensitive to certain fragrances and creams. Nivea has only listed it's fragrance as "fragrance". I like to know exactly what I'm putting on my skin.

Due to my job I tend to wash my hands or use hand sanitizer frequently so they are often quite dry, sore and cracked. I used a little there first to test out my reaction to this product. At first I didn't get much of the cocoa scent but more of a light floral scent. It felt a little slimy going on but after a few moments completely absorbed into my skin.

My hands felt moisturized and like I hadn't washed them a million times that day and the fragrance didn't bother me at all so I moved on to trying it on the rest of my body the next day after showering.
It took a bit to work this product into my skin but it was worth it. The body butter leaves me feeling like I've just applied lotion even after washing and rewashing throughout the day. I would defiantly recommend this to people but perhaps not for the $17 price tag at Shoppers Drugmart when you can get it cheaper at Walmart!
