Product removes all make up my face really well. I am not used to a cream cleanser. Usually use a foaming cleanser, so it felt like it left a residue on my face but I didn't have to use a moisturizer as much. I have extremely combination skin. My oily areas are really oily in the humid temperatures, so I try not to put a heavy moisturizer on in the summer. So this product help with that.

I was lucky enough to receive this product for free to try. It's a white creamy texture with a light pleasant smell. It feels a little heavier than most cleansers I use but since the weather has cooled off, it works with my skin right now. It does leave a bit of a film that doesn't wash off or wipe off. I don't know if it will be too much in the summer more humid months but for now it works.

I enjoyed using this cleansing lotion in the shower. That being said, unless the formula changes, I will not be getting this product again for myself. For me, I'd have to only slightly agree with the bottle as it says this is a gentle daily-use face cleanser. I disagree with its claims of being for "all skin types".
With sensitive skin like mine has turned into over the years, it does have to be quickly massaged in then rinsed off with water immediately (best to use in the shower and with a face cloth). It does remove all makeup, so it stands up to its promise in that category.
I tried using it both ways the bottle suggests - first, massaging it in then rinsing with water. That way made me like the product. So, I will keep this on hand as a backup. It feels so nice massaging it into my face and eyes. The creamy feel actually shows as a clear lotion, so there is no foam or suds to worry about. I found using a dime-sized amount is more than enough to cover my entire face and neck region. Using it in the shower and quickly rinsing it off, my whole face feels so clean right from the minute I rinse it off and the feeling lasts for hours. Even after makeup application!
Then, I tried it by massaging it in and removing with a cotton pad. Doing it this way, my face did experience a slight reaction of redness throughout. So, with sensitive faces - avoid using this cleanser with cotton pads. Rinse with water right away.
The high-end gentle makeup cleaner I normally use is by Marcelle Cosmetics. The differences I find with the two are that Marcelle is a non-scented, hypo-allergenic product while this Nivea has a very slight scent of their Nivea Creme formula. They both clean makeup off just as well as the other. Nivea is also a few bucks cheaper than Marcelle. Those are the reasons that I do suggest the Nivea Cleanser to other ladies out there - but sensitive skin types should use with caution (as I mentioned above).
For a regular price of about $8.99 for a 250mL bottle, I will stick with my Marcelle which costs a few extra bucks, but worth it in the end.

I received this product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I found this cleansing lotion to really live up to the claims on the bottle, "gently cleanses face and eyes." My skin felt clean and moisturized after using it, though I must say wiping it off instead of rinsing it off felt a little weird! It was extremely gentle due to its formula, and I could get used to that. I have tried other cleansers that make my skin feel cleaner, but they generally dry my skin out or make it feel tight. Nivea didn't do either of those things! I would recommend this to a friend, and I would probably purchase it again providing that I had a coupon. I find their pricepoints to be a bit steep, but the quality shows.

Another free sample which I have fallen in love with. Gently cleanses the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and soft. I am considering changing my facial cleansing routine to incorporate this great product!

First of all, I received this product for free to try and review and I absolutely loved this product. It has a very good fragrance, very neutral and gentle, keeping my skin smelling very nice. The texture of the product is thin, perfect and easy to apply over all the face. I also loved the fact that you can use this product every day, to wash your face and to remove make-up. My skin became very clean, no-oily and smooth. I definitely recommend this product. I keep it in the shower to use every day!

I was thrilled to receive this as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I love the classic light scent of Nivea so I was eager to try the facial cleanser. I used this in the shower and rinsed with water. It was smooth going on and rinsed clean. The only disappointment I had was that it didn't seem to cleanse all my make up off. I had to use a cleansing cloth to remove my eye make up completely. For this reason I wouldn't replace my existing cleanser with this one but this product would be great for someone who either doesn't wear make up or who wears very little.

I received this product free for review. I thought this product was average. It did clean my face (without make up), however I didn't it anything special about it. I don't think I would go out of my way to get this. Maybe if I found it for a very good deal.

Received this product free from chickadvisor and Nivea. I use this alone and with the cleaning wipes. I found alone it didn't work very well still left lots of makeup behind and left my skin dry. Used with the wipes it got a lot more off however still left my skin feeling dry and tight.

I was not pleased with this product.It did remove makeup . I didn't feel it was a good cleanser for me. Seemed too thick and remained on my skin feeling a touch greasy. Definitely had to wash my face after using this, so may as well have just washed. Not sold on this product.
