Oh the classic Nivea Creme... I remember trying this some years ago because it is such a well-loved product. I went in with an open mind to try this product again. Unfortunately this product is just not for me. It is super thick and feels heavy. It makes my skin look greasy and after a few days my skin started breaking out. The smell is nice but very strong and it just lingers on the skin, eventually getting overwhelming. This product has a lot of chemical ingredients, fragrances and preservatices, I don't think my skin agrees with it. I know some people swear by it but it doesn't work for my skin type.

I was not a huge fan of this cream. I am very picky with hand/body creams to begin with so I will tell you that I am a tough critic with creams. I found the scent way too strong and floral (almost a rose scent). The cream is very thick and doesn't spread very easily so you end up using quite a bit to cover the area you want. I used about a third of this tiny tin to do one calf! I also found it left my hands very greasy afterwards (even when I washed it off my hands, it left the water beads spread out on my hand that happen when you try to wash something greasy). It absorbs well after some time and does leave your skin feeling soft which are the redeeming qualities but I wouldn't purchase this again.

I have the type of pasty, moist skin that only true redheads can have and as a result this cream just smeared on my face like diaper rash cream, thick and undissolvable. Again, I believe I am in a select group of the population who finds this cream too rich, but then there is a whole other population who will think it is the cats meow!

Light scent. Goes on smooth without a greasy feel and it absorbs quick into skin. Make up was easily applied overtop after without smearing. Great to use on neck and chest too.

The Nivea Creme is a staple for many women and I was excited to try it. I first used it as a day moisturizer but it was too heavy for my skin to wear under makeup.

As a night creme (which I think it is intended for) it worked really well and left me with soft, smooth skin.

My husband also used this on his face and it helped to sooth his sunburn.

This is the only NIVEA product which doesnt work for me. I found the crème too thick and it made my face greasy after applying. I do however like the scent and my boyfriend is a fan of the crème.

I was a little skeptical of this product, but was surprised by the results.
A little goes a long way.
I have really dry skin on my legs and I found this was instant relief without it being sticky or greasy.
The smell was not overpowering and went on evenly and smooth.
I would definitely buy this product.

I really wanted to love this cream as I had heard so many good things about Nivea. But unfortunately it fell short for me. It was a bit thicker than I would want for a cream especially for my hands and face. It also was a cream that I could feel on my face which i am not a fan of. I like my lotions/creams to rub in and absorb better and to not feel heavy on my skin.

So unfortunately this was not the product for me.

I will probably use it on my elbows and knees and maybe feet until it is all gone but will probably not purchase it for me again.

I also wish the scent was different, and milder.

I tried this on my face first and really didn't like it as it goes on heavy and since I usually have dry skin it really didn't go on well. I was going to give up and give it a bad review but then tried it on other areas of my boy like my feet. Nivea creme is thick so it goes on smooth and since my feet are thicker skinned then my face this took well. This is perfect for those areas that have really dry patches.

It leaves kind of a greasy, grimy feel on my skin that I don't enjoy, and the scent is a bit strong for what I like in a cream. It doesn't do a bad job of moisturizing, though, so it actually works well, but it's just not for me.
