I received NIVEA Essentials Lip Balm free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I had tried this product before but forgot how really great it was. It truly is one of the #NIVEAMustHaves. This lip balm is a twist up stick which I prefer over a jar or tube. It is super convenient and I carry it with me every day. It is clear and I use it over my lipstick color. It keeps my lips moisturized and soft. I can't stand having dried out lips and with the cooler fall weather quickly approaching I am sure this is going to be my go to lip product for the fall and winter. No fruity smell just a reliable product that works. Thank you @ChickAdvisor and @NIVEACanada I love discovering all these #NIVEAMustHaves and the best part of all I #gotitfree. :)

I received this from nivea to test and I was excited because I currently have the spf and the tinted one in my drawers and have been satisfied with them. I did find it wasn't what I was hoping. I usually use lip balm in the winter for moisture but it felt a bit waxy and I had to reapply it more often.

As a family we are super inclined towards Nivea having the association with the brand since childhood. My husband especially cannot function without Nivea Essential Lip Balm during fall and winter. I feel like I need to reapply it frequently to make it through the day without chapped lips but I still prefer it over other brands. I got to try this product for free, thanks Chick Advisor !

The lip balm went on very waxy and it felt like there was a thick layer on my lips and did not like the scent. One of the very few Nivea products I was not impressed with.

Not my favourite lip chap. I was so surprised as I am a big Nivea fan but this lip chap leaves my lips white and needs to be reapplied constantly. Doesn't do the job I need it to and not kid friendly either.

Leaves lips soft and don't have to keep re-applying, because the moisture lasts! Not bad taste, either, and doesn't leave color stain, on your lips. I loved it, and would recommend it, it's better than Chapstick brand!!!

This lip balm is perfect for me. I tend to sleep with my mouth open so my lips become very dry. Before going to bed, I put on some NIVEA Essential Lip Balm and it easily protects my lips from the dryness of the night. It has a shea butter smell that I like. It's soft and very covering (a little too much for my taste as a day lip balm). When I wake up my lips are well hydrated and I still feel the lip balm on them. I would recommend it to people with the same problem or people with very dry lips in general.

This product has a light taste and smell. I usually go for fruity lip balms or anything with a taste. I appreciated this lip balm more for the effectiveness. Kept my lips hydrated for hours and isn't too greasy. Would recommend to friends and will consider buying in the futur even if it's not going to be my go-to lip balm.

Smooth and soft feeling. Nice scent and lasts a long time on lips. Not too glossy and can work under lipstick to give extra moisture.
Seems to penetrate dryness well.

This lip balm is fantastic. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave my lips feeling sticky. My lips feel moisturized and it lasts all day long. I'd buy this for sure!
