I really liked this lip balm. There isn't any strong smell or taste. The packaging is very gender-neutral, so it can be used by anyone. I've bought some for my husband and my kids. The big perk to me for the kids is the lack of smell and taste as I've found when I buy cute flavoured ones, the kids lick their lips until they are even more chapped than before. Not with this lip balm. I put it on and they leave it on.

My husband isn't the type to use much in the way of skincare, but this looks basic enough that he isn't embarrassed to use it himself.

It isn't so thick that you can't layer a lipstick on over a light application, but it's thick enough that I can put it on before I go to sleep and still feel moisturized in the morning.

I think this will have a place on all of our nightstands for the foreseeable future.

This is my go to lip balm. It's a great price and comes in a great package which can easily be thrown (and found) in my purse or in my pocket. It moisturizes your lips and helps with the chapping. What I like best is the fact that it's not thick, particularly considering the benefits it produces. There was no taste to it either.

This is my holy grail lip balm. It does not dry out your lips and repairs the cheapness in them. Also its only a couple bucks and you can get a two pack. I will not use any other lip balm ever again!

You can't go wrong with this lip balm! At 1.99, it's completely affordable and so effective! Extremely moisturizing. If you apply it prior to your lipstick, it goes on so beautifully and prevents your lips from drying out. If you overapply, it can leave a bit of a white cast on your lips though.

Nivea's Essential Lip Balm has a great formula at a great price, and I think it is perfect for the upcoming cooler months!

The lip balm has a thicker formula consisting of various waxes and moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and jojoba oil. There's a light vanilla fragrance/flavour, and the tube is a basic white with navy cap. I think this -- along with the price -- makes it suitable for anyone of any age or gender (though note it's not vegan-friendly as there is beeswax in the formula).

I can be picky with my lip balms, and usually basic, inexpensive ones like this don't hit my mark, but Nivea's Essential formula is definitely pleasing. I love how it's thick, long-lasting, and doesn't have too strong of a fragrance. Do check this one out!

Nice essential lip balm is just what it says, essential. This lip balm is great value for the money. It goes on smooth and lasts. My lips stayed soft all day and even after I removed it. I haven't had any drying since I started using it. Basic product that does just what it promises

I have already had to buy more of this lip balm as my husband stole my first one. We both love it. It saved our lips that were so dry from a summer of too much sun. It is 100% our new family go to! My daughter has requested her own tube as well.

I am a hardcore lip balm junkie. I have tried many types and brands of lip balms and am very picky when it comes to performance. The Essential Lip Balm from Nivea is seriously amazing and has my stamp of approval.

The tube lid comes off to reveal the lip balm, which is accessed by twisting the bottom. The lip balm stick is white in colour, but goes on clear. The sensation of application is smooth, creamy, and I detect a hint of shea butter scent. Honestly, this works so well and keeps my lips hydrated and moisturized for a long time. This product does not dry out my lips like so many other balms out there.

I was very hesitant to try Nivea's essential lip balm at first, but now I am really glad that I got this opportunity! Without this trial program, I probably never would have switched from the lip balm I was using previously, but I think I actually like this one more. I have EXTREMELY dry, cracked, peeling lips all the time. Though it is slightly better in the summer months, it's still really bad & just downright painful & annoying in the winter. So I am curious to see how well it works come November, but for now it actually seems to have helped a bit. They're still dry & peeling, but I can say that it has slightly improved. And for me, any small improvement is a big deal. I'm trying not to get too excited about continuous results since this has happened before once I switch products, but sometimes my lips seem to develop a certain tolerance. So maybe it was just time to make any switch, but for now I am content & plan on to continue using it.
