I have used this moisturizer a couple of times now. It smells awesome! Compared to other in shower moisturizers I've used I found this one to be superior. My skin felt smooth and soft all day, even my problem areas like elbows
I'm very impressed with this product!
I have extremely dry skin, especially now in the winter and I've tried all types of lotions (which are nice but leave the skin feeling greasy for some time, and then dry again afterwards within minutes/hours) as well as other in-shower body oils (which are messy!).
This product felt great on the skin in the shower, washes off nicely (where this is no residue but you can feel your skin has been moisturized!) and no mess afterwards! I will definitely continue using this product in the future!

According to Nivea, this in-shower cocoa butter body lotion is specially formulated to intensely nourish normal to dry skin.
How it works: Wash with your usual shower product and rise off. While still in the shower, apply the in-shower body lotion onto wet skin. The lotion works similar to a hair conditioner, except it's for your skin. Once applied, rinse off and you're good to go. It will make your skin as soft as it's ever been.
The Good:
Absorbs quickly
Goes on smoothly
Long lasting
Moisturizes well
Not greasy
Smells great
Softens skin
The So-So:
The scent is pleasant; however, much of it goes down the drain when you rinse.
As with all in-shower moisturizers, be careful getting out of the tub. The lotion tends to stick around, making the tub slick.
Results: The moisturizer is thick and fairly creamy. It goes on pretty well on wet skin and does not slide off (which is what tends to happen with wet skin and conventional moisturizers). The scent is pleasant; however, much of it goes down the drain when you rinse.
If you have some body area that is very, very dry, this will make a difference. It's even better than body butter. I love how thick and creamy this lotion is without being too greasy. It absorbs quickly in my skin and leaves me feeling soft and moisturized.
The cocoa butter seems to stay with your skin and keep it from becoming flaky or dry. I've used cocoa butter and it can be quite sticky or heavy. So by incorporating it into an in-shower product, Nivea can offer the benefits of heavier cocoa butter application without the sticky residue.
Bottom line: This new in-shower body lotion is a convenient way to moisturize right in the shower without the waiting time or the sticky lotion feel. Wash, moisturize and then you’re done! The formula, with an indulging Cocoa scent, is highly innovative and leaves skin feeling hydrated and silky soft.

Firstly the instructions do scare me a bit - apply than rinse off immediately! I'm not a 100% sure I was even using it right, do you rub it in like actual cream, or do you just slap it on and wash it right off.
I did go with the slap on/wash off method. It smells lovely, not overpowering just a light smell that lingered for a while. I did feel like it was keeping my legs from drying out (the primary spot I used it on) and this time of year that it a difficult thing to do all on its own.
However having said that- I'm not sure if I would recommend it. It works, yes, but it's weird. I feel like maybe you just need to moisturize with Nivea once you get out of the shower. I've gone with recommending it, as I feel that maybe I just over-thought the instructions to much, and it did indeed help my skin
I really love the idea of this product to save time. It smells amazing and goes on well. It does leave a very slippery film in the bath tub afterwards though. My skin feels very soft after using it, even the next day. If i had a coupon, i would purchase again.
I love, I love, I love! I hate body lotion, I'm too lazy to use it. This in-shower lotion is perfect for me. It quick to use, the odor is good and my skin is more hydrated. The feeling after applying is strange, very oily but when the skin is dry this feeling dissappear. The action is light but is perfect for my normal skin type. I will buy again for sure. Thanks Nivea and chick advisor

I was so happy to try this product as Nivea is a trusted brand, and has been used in my family since my mother was young. Nivea In-Shower Cocoa Butter Body Lotion does not disappoint! I have wanted to try an "in-shower" body lotion for a while now, but have avoided it because of the price. I have noticed that Nivea's in-shower lotion is often priced at a lower price compared to other similar products, which is good to know.
Originally, I was a bit skeptical of the ability of a body lotion to moisturize while in the shower. My daily routine has always included moisturizing out of the shower and, with my dry skin in the winter months, I was definitely a little nervous to try this product and refrain from moisturizing again outside of my shower. Well, after my first use, my fears were put to rest! This in-shower body lotion moisturizes as well as my regular go-to lotion, but with the added benefit of saving me time. I could not believe that the lotion managed to penetrate my skin so quickly and be rinsed off, while still delivering moisture, but it did! As an additional benefit to me, I love the simple cocoa butter scent and found it very enjoyable. I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it!

First of all, let's start by saying that Nivea's reputation is already very respectable and its brand has been trustworthy for several decades. I remember my mother using Nivea products in the 80s when I was just a little kid. However, what makes Nivea's success is that it never stopped bettering itself by not only following an everchanging world creating new needs, but most importantly, by remaining innovative and relevant among newer, trendier and maybe even more exciting brands. The truth is, at 40, I don't care about "exciting" brands anymore, I want a product that works for me. The truth is, even in my 20s, I remember that my favourite most efficient eye makeup remover was Nivea's, although I had paid for haut de gamme brands before.
Now when it comes to Nivea In-Shower Cocoa Butter Body Lotion, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. These new "in-shower" products seem to be all the rage right now and they all have different claims, purposes and instructions. I have actually tried a few of them and Nivea's was quite interesting. Of course, as with all its products, Nivea offers quality at a very decent price. This product is not any different as it is cheap, but efficient.
Although I am big on almost all beauty products and cosmetics (yes, I was always a girly girl), one thing I could never get used to is body lotions, whether you call them milk, cream or butter as if they were food from the dairy counter or any other cutesy name, no matter if it is almost liquid or very thick, I am a woman on the go and frankly, I have always found them too time-consuming. Now don't get me wrong, I like having soft skin and I just love all the different fragrances, but I have bought hundreds of them (hmmm, yes, hundreds) always hoping I would find "the one" and I never have. Fortunately, I have never had really dry skin (until recently, I guess turning 40 will do that) and I always had perfumes, body mists and similar products to rely on for fragrances. Now that I have come clean about my bad habits, I can say that this is the product I and all other lazy or busy ladies out there have been looking for! We want the smooth and silky skin, we want the delicious cocoa butter fragrance and we want time!!! Yes, we want our cake and we want to eat it too! And why not? Time is money and this product shows me that Nivea understands I have better things to do than to "grease myself up" for 20 minutes every night (or day) with products that I have to "rub in" for them to penetrate the skin and do what they are supposed to do.
If I had one little criticism, and it certainly would not prevent me from buying or recommending this product, is that it is a little thick and sometimes I can't really tell whether it's completely rinsed off or if it is still on my skin. No big deal, I just quickly rinse again. I also figure it just might take a bit of "getting used to" since it is an added new step to my shower.
So now what? Just waiting on a whole collection of different fragrances for the very same product from Nivea. The cocoa butter is great, but let's see with what else Nivea can come up to delight us all!
As mentioned above, I would definitely buy this product again and recommend it to a friend. After all these years, Nivea continues to reinvent itself and impress!
I received this product as a part of my product review package from Chick Advisor.
I fell in love with this product right after my first use. After I read the instruction carefully, i applied it in the shower then rinse off. It was not different from before until I towel dry, but when the body was completely dried, is felt so smooth and moist.
This body lotion is awesome, it works like a body oil but no grease both in the tub and on the towel. I was impressed how smooth my skin became without using oily product.
I will take this to the swimming pool for after swimming shower especially that's the most time I need deep hydrating without hassle of putting a body lotion then putting clothes on which always gives damp and sticky feeling under the fabric.
I love this product!
I was selected to try this product out and write a review so here it goes!
As far as the features that are advertised this product was spot on. It wasn't sticky feeling and it moisturized quite well. However i dont feel that it lasted the full 24hrs. I would say it was more like 8hrs give or take a few hours. With that being said... My skin is also quite dry in the winter, so it was back to being itchy and dry again. I had high hopes for it. When i put it on in the shower it felt great and very moisturizing. I also think that when you dry off after you lose some of the moisturizing effects unless you pat dry.
So... Would i buy this product again? I think i would try it in the summer when i dont need as much moisture on my skin.
I would say that this product would be good for someone who doesnt have super dry skin and would just need more of a light moisturizer.
