say bye to chapped lips
I rely very heavily on lip balm and apply it multiple times a day. I can't stand the feeling of chapped or even just dry lips, and I live in the Canadian prairies, so I am pretty well-acquainted with both. I became frustrated with the eos spheres and needed something new, so I bought the Nivea Essential Lip Care balms (dark blue cap) and have been using them daily for a month.
These are very inexpensive! I bought a 2-pack at Superstore for $3 CAD. I don't notice any scent, and I think the packaging is nice. They provide a lot of moisture to my lips and it feels creamy, not waxy or greasy. My lips are in the best shape they've been in for years and I haven't needed to exfoliate any dry bits off them for weeks. I'm prone to product-related breakouts along my lip line, and haven't seen any since beginning my Nivea use. Lipsticks also apply really nicely over top of this!
I highly recommend these and will be repurchasing.
Some times you buy a lip balm and it feels like you put wax on your lips, this one did not give me that, I liked it, Light in color so your lips have a slight tint, The cost is far compared to most lip balms mine was included in a gift pack and I loved all the products that was included in the gift box.
This product is packaged very nicely. It is very nice to hold to use. The texture of the product is smooth not at all sticky in feeling on the lips. The product was very effective in moisturing my lips. I have very sensitive skin and many lip products cause a stinging sensation not this product. I would recommend this to my friends.
the product is very soft ans consistent for the lips. After applying it you feel so good. the smell is very nice to.
This light kiss is exactly that. Not too much on your lips, just a clean fresh balm of nourishing flavour.
I can't say as I've ever really tried a Nivea product before to gauge my review of this product but for $3.49 tax, I got an entirely new experience with a lip product.
I'm used to Lip Smackers - babysitting my chap stick tube and reapplying every 10 minutes or be forced into biting my lips uncontrollably. With Nivea Light Kiss Lip Care, I found it tasted kind of like I was putting body lotion on my lips. Although you may be confused at the thought, the fact of the matter is it kept my tongue and my teeth away from my lips because no one wants to eat body lotion (except maybe Satsuma Body Butter from The Body Shop).
At first feel, it's almost like you're putting water on your lips. It feels wet and light and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere and before you know it, it feels silky and tingly and marvelous. I never knew a lip balm could elicit so many lip sensations!
Factoring in cost, look and ability to keep me from biting my lips, I'd give it 2 thumbs up. And an A for effective name - it does feel like I'm getting a light kiss every single time I apply.
