For men this product is great! Does what it should. However, like everyone else I tried it for myself as a makeup primer... and I hated it. It did not make my makeup last all day like my actual primers do. I'm glad it works for some people, but I'll be sticking to my makeup primer :) Like I said though.. for guys I know its great cause this is all my brother would use and he is super picky!

After watching several beauty guru's rave about the NIVEA Men's Post Shave Balm, I decided to try it for myself. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this product is! I cleanse my entire face first, and follow with a good moisturizer, and then use the NIVEA Post Shave Balm - my makeup lasts ALL day! This is hands down, my new favorite primer. I would definitely recommend it to those who may have oily to combination, or dry skin.

Honnêtement j'adore ce produit.Je l'utilise comme base avant d'appliquer mon maquillage sur mon visage et ça donne un effet super.Un peu collant au début alors c'est parfait pour bien faire tenir le maquillage,et l'odeur est minime et ça sent très bon,je le recommande!

Honnêtement ,c'est un de mes produits préférés à vie,c'est une excellente base avant d'appliquer mon maquillage dans mon visage,un peu collant mais sans trop,juste assez pour que le maquillage tiennent et s'applique bien.Il y a une petite odeu ' masculine ' mais vraiment rien de gros.Le prix est super abordable pour la qualité,honnêtement vous devriez tous l'essayer!!

So originally bought this for hubby to use after a shaving and helped it BUT I recently came across a tutorial on YouTube talking about using it as a makeup primer?! I thought that sounded completely insane but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I was very surprised. It absorbs well and feels great on my skin. Has no scent and actually worked quite well as a primer to my great surprise. Haha! I will use it again in the future as a primer.

I purchased this based on the hype it has been getting in the youtube world! This is supposed to be a great primer that makes your makeup last all day since it has glycerin in it. So far so good! It smells manly but the smell goes away and you can feel that your skin is tacky after applying. The foundation sticks right to the product and makes your makeup last all day! Great find!

One of my favorite makeup artists haphazardly discovered this unofficial face primer! Primers can be soooo expensive and I have my share in my makeup kit but, let me tell you that it has been a while since I have been so impressed with a primer. The glycerin in this product makes the makeup application so much smoother, the makeup blends so much better and the BEST part, my makeup looks flawless right up until I am ready to wash it all off at night. Normally, blush is the first thing to disappear on the face but, my blush is still there 8+ hours later, when using this product. I won`t go back, for sure. Compared to a tiny tube of primer for $30+, I will stick to this bottle which will last forever and a day for under $10. Mind you, if I have a client with oily skin, I tend to marry this primer with another one for oil control purposes and only on the areas affected. I have sensitive skin and I have not broken out or had any issue with this product at all. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

This post shave balm is amazing! Although it's for men, I have used it many times on cuts I sometimes get on my legs after shaving. It works instantly and soothes the pain and helps heal the cuts.

Even though this is listed as a after shave I actually use this as a makeup primer. The consistency is very thin and runny and of course has a strong after shave scent that fades as soon as you rub it in your face. All i do is rub it in my face to the point where it becomes sticky and then i follow with concealer and foundation and it works great. It is so much cheaper then an actual primer and smells great.
