Not wowed by this product

I recently had the opportunity to try Nivea Micellair Water for Dry and Sensitive Skin for free for testing and review purposes. It is a very gentle cleanser that I was able to use multiple times a day during the summer to remove dirt, sweat, and oil. While I did feel it was quite refreshing, it didn't remove my makeup any better than using plain tap water. I gave the remainder of the product to my preteen who is using it before bed as part of a new skin care routine. I don't believe I would purchase this product in the future. #gotitforfree #niveamicellairwater

Nothing special here

I was incredibly excited to be sent this Nivea Micellair water as I have been wanting to try micellar water due to the recent hype in the beauty blogger community. Perhaps I have been let down due to the hype, but this product did not work entirely as I expected.

The product "claim" is as following:
"Mild, yet highly effective, it’s a revolutionary all-in-1 cleansing fluid that works like a magnet to capture and lift away dirt and make-up without any rubbing or rinsing."

Despite the claim about not having to wash your face, I definitely found the need to wash my face as this was not a "deep" enough cleanse for my liking. It did an OK job of taking about 70% of my makeup off my face. For this reason, I incorporated this micellar water right before using my face wash during my evening skin care routine. It did make life a little bit easier in the sense that it helped break down my makeup, and made the next steps of washing my face simpler.

Another claim is that the this product does not leave a "filmy residue" unlike other micellar waters. I agree with this claim, there was no weird feeling left behind after using this product.

This product is for dry and sensitive skin. It did not irritate my combination skin. It did not further dry out the dry patches on my face or make my T-zone any oilier than it usually is.

Overall, I think this product works best as a pre-face-wash step in my skin care routine. No, I am not dying to run back to the store to repurchase this product again.

Will not buy again

I recieved the Nivea Micellair Water as a free sample to try. It is a decent size bottle and no strong smell to it. I found that the product did not remove my make up as well as other products I currently use and I don't use heavy makeup. It was okay but I was expecting better.

Just like the rest!

This product I received for free was just like the rest of them, I don't find it very effective when taking off your makeup! It's just like using plain water! I tried other micellair water and got the same results? I don't think ill be purchasing this product, it's a waste of money!

Good and bad. Mostly bad for me.

I really hate to do this, but I need to be very harsh here. I hated this product.

In all honesty, it's a great product. It's so lightly perfumed that the odor is almost unnoticeable. It's effective, it cleanses well but not too well, and most importantly, it doesn't leave a residue.

Now for the subjective review: this product didn't work with my skin at all. My facial skin type is combination/sensitive, and I was sent dry/sensitive. I tried it anyway (see the results above) but got a pimple the first time I tried. So...as I said, great product, but I definitely won't be buying it, at least not in this formula.

Sans odeur mais pas si efficace

J'aime le fait que le produit ne soit pas parfumé. Cependant, je n'ai pas l'impression qu'il est aussi efficace que d'autres produits que j'ai utilisé par le passé. Je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir le visage propre.

Ma peau tiraille après son utilisation.

J'ai testé gratuitement l'eau micellaire de Nivea pour peau sèche et sensible. Lors de la première utilisation, ma peau tiraille comme si elle manquait dhydratation, alors qu'elle était correct avant l'utilisation de cette eau micellaire. Sinon, elle fait un superbe travaille. Elle démaquille très bien et nettoie bien la peau également. Il suffit d'appliquer une crème hydratante après son utilisation.

Its okay

Pour le prix je trouve qu’il fait la job. Ce n’est pas mon préféré car je reste des fois avec la peau un peu sèche mais enlève assez bien la saleté

Not the best product remover

While this is maybe a good product to remove slight dirtiness from the face, it didn't remove any of my makeup product(s) as stated. Now, with that being said it definitely did not irritate my skin at all or leave any redness like some other products i've used in the past. If you're about making your skin feel fresh, i would recommend this product, however i wouldn't recommend for use of removing your makeup.

Pas vraiment convaincue...

J'utilise régulièrement le mascara waterproof et ce produit n'a pas été capable de l'enlever. Par contre, le restant de maquillage a été bien enlevé.
J'essaie de trouver des produits capables de faire tout en même temps. Si j'achète ce produit, il faudrait que j'utilise un démaquillant pour les yeux...
