Good micellar water, removes makeup well
This is a great micellar water that removes the last traces of makeup very well. I received (from the ChickAdvisor campaign) this version, which is intended for dry and sensitive skin types. I can confirm that this cleanses my dry skin without stripping it of natural oils or damaging the moisture barrier. It provides that clean feeling without excessive dryness. All in all, this is a winner!
Please note: I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor as part of their Product Review Club.
Good cleanser and makeup remover
I received this product from Chick Advisor and have been using it for two weeks. I have used a few micellair cleansers before and I often find they don't remove makeup well. I was impressed with how well this removes makeup, not as well as a makeup remover but 2-3 wipes and eye makeup is removed. It worked well as a cleanser and my skin did not feel tight or dry afterwards, though I wouldn't say it moisturizes. Overall, the best micellair cleanser I have tried.
New Favourite!
I was selected to try the NIVEA MICELLAIR WATER FOR DRY AND SENSITIVE SKIN for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions and I can honestly say I was impressed. I had experimented with Micellar waters when they first became a huge fad a few years ago, but veered away from them due to sensitive skin issues. This product has reintroduced me and I am in love!
The product is large and comes in a 400mL container which is great for the $9-$10 price tag! I wear a full face of makeup almost daily so I know the importance of making sure it is all of before I hop into bed. I use this product at night by soaking cotton pads and then doing gentle circular motions on my face. There is no need to scrub or push hard! I am blown away by how easily my foundation, eye liner and lipstick all comes off so effortlessly with ONE product! I did find that my waterproof mascara did need a little coaxing and help coming off but everything else came off easily. My usual routine requires three products for each area of my face which is expensive and time consuming - so this is SO much better.
This Micellair water did not cause any breakouts or irritation on my sensitive skin and it did not dry me out. I love that it is dermatologist tested, but I wish it was dermatologist recommended as well.
Overall, I loved the Nivea Micellair Water and will continue to use it in the future for it's ease of use and gentle ingredients. It does a pretty good job of taking off a full face of makeup and leaves skin soft and smooth. I will definitely recommend this brand and product to my family and friends!
Nivea Micellair Water for Dry and Sensitive Skin
I received this wonderful product for free in the agreement that I would leave a review 😊 the micellair water did not make my skin feel greasy, rather it made it feel soft and look healthier.
VERY Easy on the skin! Removes makeup in SECONDS!
ChickAdvisor was kind enough to send me this product, and I am SO happy that they did! I have extremely sensitive skin so I was initially scared to try this product. IT WAS LIKE PUTTING WATER ON YOUR FACE!! It completely removed ALL of my makeup (face, eyes and LIPS) - there was no burning on my eyes and it just went on my face as refreshing as water. I put a bit on a cotton pad, and then used it on my eyes - everything went away - then I used another cotton pad (you can use the back of the same one, but I like using a separate one), and removed my face makeup. My skin/eyes did not burn or have a tingly feeling, it just felt like a good clean wipe. It doesn't have a smell - it is just like water. My skin just felt so good, even the next morning and I didn't break out from it. I was so so happy and I have definitely found my new makeup remover! Never will use anything else!!
Great makeup remover
Very effective in removing eye makeup, even with lots of mascara and eyeliner. Leaves a bit of a greasy feel afterwards but with a quick splash of water it feels much better.
I still prefer other brands to remove makeup which have more of a cream base but this still works and feels lovely.
I
I have received Nivea Micellair Water for free to try and share my opinion. I have never used micellair water before so it was my first time. It says that I can take regular make up off my eyes and face, lips. Unfortunately it didn’t really took mascara off, so I used my regular eye make up remover (from Nivea). But it did remove some ton from the face. So I think it’s good for face without make up, of you cave make up, use your regular make up remover after or before micellair water. My dry skin didn’t have any reaction in this product. If you use micellair water, I recommend you to try this one.
J'aime
It's okay, but I prefer other micellar waters
Thanks to PRC for sending me a full sized product to try. This isn’t my first time using micellar water so I was able to compare it to the one from Garnier & Bioderma (the one I currently use). The product works but it takes patience and time to gently remove your make up. I didn’t love the tingly/almost sticky feeling after using it and felt the need wash my face afterwards to remove this “layer”. I went over my face with toner afterwards to see what residual it would leave behind and sure enough there’s still some make up. Although this is quite normal, i experience this with my Bioderma product as well (just with less residual make up).
When I use micellar water, I typically soak it on a cotton pad to remove the visible eye make up and whatever foundation I can get off my face. Then I use a light exfoliant to get the rest of the make up off / clean my face. I would still use the Nivea one because it would still work if I pair it with an exfoliant. I just prefer the Bioderma (blue hydrating) one, followed by the Garnier (darker pink cap).
