Drying and not a pretty sheen

I really like Nivea untinted lip balms and wanted moisture and color in one swipe. I found myself having to reapply this lip balm often before realizing that it's probably drying out my lips more than it is moisturising. My skin tone is on the fair side but I can't wear this product alone without making my lips look too white and almost sick. You could get away with applying another lip balm or a better colour lipstick under and only using this as a shiny topper, but that defeats the purpose of this product.

It’s ok..

This isn’t a favourite of mine. I find it more drying that moisturising on me. If he colour also just doesn’t look right almost looks like something out of a children’s makeup set.

Okay for a cheap lip balm

Honestly wasn't too impressed with this lip balm. On first try its nice, but I felt my lips getting dry faster and the tint isn't super flattering for me. It doesn't have a big price tag so you can't expect miracles. I'd stick with the original in the future

Pass

Bought this once to give my lips a cute look and was totally disappointed. This product was heavy, waxy, sticky, and looked terrible. I ended up wiping it off and throwing it away. I would not recommend this to any of my friends.

It is nice

Good, but it does not work as a moisturizer for lips. When I apply it, my dry lips look ugly. It is okay if you apply it after any regular lip balm. I am still using it, but I never buy it again!

not that moisturizing

I bought it expecting it would have the same moisturizing effect than the other regular nivea balms, but it's not that moisturizing as the others. It also has kind of a sandy texture.

Just wasn't for me

I love chapstick; I have chapstick for my car, work, home, etc. but this chapstick just didn’t work for me. I felt like I had to keep re-applying it often and the shimmer was just too much.

Pearly shine but don't last long

I have tried NIVEA lip balm before I re-purchased this pearly shine lip balm. I personally like NIVEA products but not their lip balm. They give you a smooth lip right after you apply it, but it doesn't last long and dry out very fast. I tried two different lip balm from NIVEA and don't think would give it a third chance.

I'm rating this with the view that I was looking for a moisturizing lip balm that would also provide color to my lips. The pink color is cute and not too shiny. It looks cute, without being overly flashy. The disappointment came with the moisture side of things. I found this lip balm provided no moisture to my lips at all, and it also felt very heavy on my lips. I felt like I was wearing lipstick, instead of lip balm. I couldn't even apply this when my lips were dry as it only made them feel worse, and in a short amount of time, I'd have to wipe it off and put another lip balm, preferably Vaseline or NIVEA Hydrating Lip Care.

Product works well, it adds a nice little tint to my lips although I don't like the shine as much. I usually put the lip balm on after lining my lips as it gives me a more natural look.
