This was a nice little surprise in the Nivea Product Review, and I thank both Nivea & Chickadvisor for the opportunity. I am a HUGE sucker for lip balms & chapsticks but I found this one didn't stay on long and the color kind of flaked off my lips not too long after application.

I received the Nivea Pearly Shine lip chap in my Nivea box of samples as an extra I suppose. I first bought this many years ago for my daughters and we do like it. The pink frost is very light so for my younger daughters this is perfect and for me if I am just in the house. But my other daughters preferred and myself prefer a darker moisturizer when we are out. It has more of a glossy look to it and we did find you had to apply it quite often when you are out. For myself and my older daughters, we prefer something a little darker and something we do not have to apply so often. For my younger daughters, they love the smell and the colour so I purchase for them. It's price is reasonable though.

I received this product from Nivea as a bonus for free for reviewing two of their other products. I didnt really like the lip balm as much as I thought I would. The formula rolled on okay, but it left my lips feeling like there was thick wax ontop of it.The shine from it was okay, but I would much rather prefer a tintless balm with no colour.

I was excited to receive this in my Nivea box from ChickAdvisor! I herd many great things about NIvea lip balms. However, I was really disappointed! This lip balm did noting for my lips, it was thick and sticky and just sat on the top of my lips. I also wasn't a big fan of the pearl finish, yes it was pearly, but the color was way too light, and really drained the color from my face. I looked ill! I wish I could love this product, but I couldn't. Passed it on to my mother.

The lip balm itself works great its just the pearly shine. Not my thing and really did not add to the product at all.

I wish the pearl shine was not so strong because it makes the product look really dated. It's really effective and a great overall lip balm. I would got for another product over it because I'm not a fan or a pearly lips.

the price is average, but the quality of the product isn't that great, neither is the effectiveness.
it left a pastey pink substance on my lips and didn't find it moisturizing at all. I prefer the clear ones.

I tried this product but didn't like the colour it left on my lips, baby pink is not my colour. I do not wear make-up and the coloured lip balm looked out of place. I found that when I put in on it flaked, I think it was because my lips are chapped.

wouldn't recommend, i tried off my friend who received, she didn't like...i thought maybe she was being picky but i might also agree with her this time, i didn't like either.

there was shine, but moisturizing factor was not there, didn't feel right on the lips

nice packaging, scent even was okay, but moisture lacked and my lips need a good moisturizer

Nivea pearly shine lip balm is effective and moisturizes my lip but the colour does not look nice on my skin.I am happy to try it before i purchase it

Although Pearly shine smells like berry-flavoured lip balm, it feels like vaseline on the lips, unfortunately. The frosty pink colour might look wonderful if I'd had a chance to go south this winter, but makes my wintery complexion look sallow and sad :-(. Not a flattering colour for me or my daughters!
