Was good but now its TRASH
Made an account here just for the review. This used to be good cat litter, cheapt clumped and did the job. A few months ago they changed the formula, you can easily tell by the color, was light gray vs old dark gray.
Now it doesnt clump at all, just breaks apart, the litter is very very dusty but the worst part is the SMELL. Whenever my kitty uses the litter it smells so bad that I will wake up at night. Shes still on the same diet so its not the food
Even if they are giving this out for free stay away from it, not buying anything No Name Brand from here on out they lost my trust completely!!!
Doesn’t work like it used too
They must have changed the formulation because it used to clump well but now it’s terrible. Will be switching to a better brand.
All of the urine filters through and sticks to the bottom of the cat box. It smells and with four cats and two large boxes that are changed everyday, I’m disappointed.
Works Great at our house!
We purchase this cat litter all the time in the largest size box. Very affordable and effective. We get the unscented/clumping version. We have a Maine Coon cat, name George - he's 5 years old. I would agree the non-clumping version is a bit useless.
Doesnt clump at all.
It doesnt clump at all.
I cant scoop out the urnine in the krystals at all it just get spreads around.
Its so dusty..... i have dust alrigie and i am going to have to get different litter, i am sneezeing my cats are sneezing.
Never get this cat litter its just a hassel.
Extremely dusty
I have been buying this cat litter for a couple of years and it used to be good. Not sure if they changed something in the litter but it's EXTREMELY dusty compared to before. I have purchased both the scented and unscented and neither are good. I have now switched to the Walmart Special Kitty litter because its much less dusty and cheaper. At Superstore the 18kg box is just under $10.00 and Walmart is the same price for a 22kg box. The furniture and floor in my basement were consistently caked in dust from the Superstore litter.
Not worth it
There is a reason why this is cheaper than other brands. It is extremely Dusty and not as absorbent as any other litters I have tried in the past. I find it gets almost sticky when wet making scooping a nightmare. Spend a bit more on anything else
Good price but smelly
I have only use his product once before. We typically buy other brand names. But they can get expensive. Tried this at a cheaper price point. And I know why it's cheap! Really dusty and does not contain or hold any of the cat smells.
Works well for the price
I prefer to use name brand when the price is right but I find that often the price/amount of this litter is far better than buying name brand. Plus with points offers is is available for even cheaper. Definetly worth it if your on a budget.
Finally found a good brand
I have always had cats and as many of you know buying cat litter can be frustrating. I have tried many brands and spent so much money but now I found an inexpensive brand and who would have guessed that a No Name brand would be the one I like the best. My two cats like it too. It last a long time as well. I scoop once a day and change the entire box less now because of how it works. Love this brand I get from Superstore.
The only litter we use now.
I hate the smell of scented litter almost as much as I hate the smell of a dirty litter box. This one works pretty well to cover most odors with no added chemical fragrances. I have 2 cats and change the litter every other morning, with very little noticeable odor. I also find it to be relatively dust free and that's a huge plus. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't clump very well but, for the price, it still works just fine. I have tried almost every kind of litter available and this is the one I have bought consistently for the past few months.
