Change in taste and texture

I am a huge fan of No Name, well I should say was. The ketchup and sour cream and onion flavours were the best. They have always been my go to chips for flavour and cost.
Lately, the potato chips have changed. I tried several different kinds over several months just to be sure that it wasn't just a bad batch, but no, they're all the same. The potato chip is now thicker, has less flavour which makes them bland. I am so disappointed in this change. Please bring back the old recipe! Thanks!

Thickness changed

It seems the last few times I bought NoName chips from No Frills that the thickness has changed, I find them almost like kettle cooked chips now. I liked them the way they were BEFORE.

Better than Lay’s

Why are they better than Lay’s? They have the perfect crisp quotient! That crisp makes for the ultimate chip experience, crispier than Lay’s! Perfectly salted and cost less than Lay’s. Great value,especially when they go on sale for as low as 93 cents a bag!

Why pay more?

I highly recommend No Name Potato Chips in any flavor! I have tried them all, and think they all taste great. They are a great value too, compared to other brands. If you can get past the yellow bag, you're saving yourself money!

So tasty

I LOVE no name potato chips more than any other brand or there. They taste so good, the price is right and you can read all of the ingredients. There's not anything that doesn't need to be on a potato chip. They are crunchy, not greasy and gave the perfect amour of salt. Yum

No name chips

My daughter bought some no name ripple chips from the Superstore, they were disgustingly salty. They were like trying to chew on a salt block. They were extremely greasy as well. I won't ever buy these after one taste. There is nothing like requiring a 4 liter jug of water to get rid of the taste. On the plus side... it is one way to get water into your system.

Suprising for a budget brand

The “name” brand chips are getting more and more expensive so I tried the No name chips for $1.50 a bag. If I didn’t see them coming out of the bag, I would think that they were lays or ruffles.

Chips that cost less but taste great

No name chips taste great! Loblaws make great products that I love! I highly recommend their chips for taste and crunch. Even better, the price is right!

Save money,still great taste

We love potato chips in my house,so when I tried out the No Name brand of chips I was happily surprised at the taste and the quality of the chip. From now on I will save the money and not always purchase the more expensive brands.

We're all experts when it comes to our favourite junk foods -- I am no exception. While there are many other brands I'd pick for myself, sometimes there's going to be a party and sometimes you need a value option. You can't get better value than from the No Name brand. I recommend these potato chips for large parties, or in cases where potato chips aren't the main focus. They have the crisp. The flavour is slightly sharp. The price is right and most people wouldn't know the difference, or care.
