Cheap product - broke within 2 days

This product was extremely disappointing! I received it for free and I was really excited to use it. On the first day I used it, it worked for about 10 minutes and then shut off for no reason. I went to turn it back on but it kept beeping repeatedly and shutting itself off. I thought perhaps it just needed to air out a bit more (as it had been less than 24 hours since I had taken it out of the package). I went to use it again on the second day more than 24 hours later - it worked for a little while. I had only been using it on the heat setting so I thought I would try it on the fan setting to see how that worked. It was difficult to get the switch to move to the fan setting. It seemed to move only half an inch rather than the full diameter of the lever. In any event, that did seem to switch it into fan mode as cool air did blow out when I turned it on. However, when I went to switch it back to heat, a piece inside the fan broke! So whatever mechanism is built inside the packaging is completely broken - it rattled for a while in heat mode and then promptly stopped working. So I have given up on this machine as it is pretty well completely broken. It lasted less than 36 hours before it broke. I am extremely disappointed and I would NOT recommend this product.
