is super easy to set up and connect to the lights, it makes a waterproof seal which will help moisture from getting in the lights. I've never used a weather seal before but it sounds like a great idea.

useful but should be included with string lights

I would say that this package should come in bigger packs for when you have more feet to cover. Also I would think that these should come included and already installed on the string lights since they normally outside during winter.

These connectors are weather proof and can be used indoor and outdoor, we used it in our patio and the rain dint damage these connectors. These help to keep the moisture from the lights and works as a good sealant.
