Sleek and Stylish

This fan is a great addition to any room. It works best for a mid sized room. The style fits so great in our room and with 6 speeds to choose from it will
be great for all seasons. The negative aspect is the light. While it is bright and offers 3 types of lighting the colour of light changes every time you turn it off then back on. We haven’t found a way to make the light colour consistent. I would reccomend this to others we really like it.

Very Quiet - nice style

Very quiet - nice style
Was happy to have the opportunity to try out this awesome ceiling fan for free through Canadian Tire and Butterly. It goes with my decor, is whisper silent even on the highest setting and has multi colour dimmable lighting. We have needed a fan in the master bedroom to help pull up the air from our vents for more even distribution around the room but have put it off for years to do other projects. The installation instructions could have been a bit clearer (especially where to put the remote box once installed but otherwise it was pretty smooth sailing - took about 45 minutes to install from start to finish. Quiet fan

I would say the installation process is trickier if you’ve never had experience with installing lights with wires and a lighting plate. Luckily, my dad has worked with this type of lighting before so he was able to help me install it with little issues. A little tip is to have two people work on the installation, it helps a lot. I like the ability to adjust the light settings on the fan with the dimmable features but there is the hassle of having to choose the light setting each time as it resets once you turn the light off. A big plus is that the fan is quiet which is perfect for those who might get distracted or annoyed by fan noises. I think this would be great to use in the summer to cool the room so it’s not super hot.

Powerful and quiet Noma ceiling fan

This NOMA ceiling fan looks elegant and stylish. The motor is powerful and rather quiet. It performs very well. Easy to install. It’s quite convenient to operate with the remote control. The dimmable Led light is a plus. Highly recommend.

Effective ceiling fan

This is a sleek ceiling fan, being brushed nickel and with black blades. The aesthetic would go with most home designs. The brushed nickel is nice and shiny, and the blades are matte because they are made of a lightweight but sturdy material (not metal or wood). The instructions are a bit confusing, and it stresses a few times in the instruction booklet that you should get a licensed electrician to install it. It definitely is not easy installation for someone who has never worked with wires before. If you’re a handyperson, it would be a fun project. Otherwise, a licensed electrician is a better option. Thankfully I am in a household with a handyman, and we have been doing renovations. The installation wasn’t too bad save for some hiccups in understanding the instructions. Once the fan was up though, it was easy to use. I like that the product even comes with 2 AAA batteries for the remote control! Seems well thought out, as you don’t need to run out to buy some if you don’t have any. The led light produces good lighting, and it is great that it is dimmable and you can change colours. The downside is that it is a plate of lights so in the future when it burns out, it’s not as easy as switching out a standard light bulb. Also the light seems to reset each time you turn it off, it’d be ideal if you can choose one and save the setting. I like the remote control, because it lets me switch the settings from sitting. The fan is strong and not too noisy, no complaints there. In terms of size, it’s good for a medium sized bedroom or living room.

Beautiful design and great features

This beautiful LED celing fan is such a nice addition to my bedroom. I love the modern design and sleek look of the brushed nickle finish with the frosted light shade. The celing fan that we took down was time-consuming to clean. This new fan cleans up so much easier, just a few wipes to dust if off. The 3 blades provide much better circulation than the previous 5 small blades my last one had. With 5 speeds that I can control myself by the remote, regulating the temperature of the top floor in my house is going to be so much easier. The biggest perk of having this fan is the remote. I don't have to get out of bed and run across my room to shut the fan off from the light switch. The remote allows me to change the direction the fan is going and the speed. I can also turn the light on and off using the remote, especially handy if i fall asleep reading before bed. The dimmable light makes it so much brighter when I am getting ready in the morning. I will be replacing the 2 older fans in other bedrooms with these fans in the near future. They are a great size for bedrooms and they look sharp with any decor and colour.

Great Powerful Fan, Get a buddy for installation

I received the NOMA Hayden 3-Reversible Blade 6-Speed Ceiling Fan with Dimmable LED & Remote, 44-in, Brushed Nickel for free in exchange for an honest review. It’s a beautiful fan, and the fan power is perfect for a small bedroom. Here’s my review on the installation and ease of use (my partner and I have installed 6 ceiling fans).

This is definitely a 2-people-job, so have someone with you when you install it. The instructions are a bit unclear and the order is not in the best sequence. Make sure you find the light box (or stud) and hook up the safety wire FIRST. The instructions were to install the first panel but we had to take it off and hook up the safety wire, as there was no access to the light box once the first panel was installed. A bit of a design flaw if you ask me, but after hooking up the wire, it’s a breeze following the instructions until you connect the wires. The booklet goes forward a few pages to hook up the wires, then you have to go back a few pages to go back to installing the rest of the light exterior. Not a big deal, just a heads up for those who loves to follow concurrent pages. We stripped one of the wall screws (not by accident) so maybe have a few spares if you can just in case.

The remote pairing was super easy, there’s a short lag (maybe 2 seconds) from turning on the main light switch to seeing the light bulb turn on. The BEST function, is the DIMMING function. There’s multiple shades of light (no more choosing white only or yellow light), and on top of that, you can still choose to DIM the light! It’s amazing! The blades are wonderful for a small sized room, the blade is beautiful and the wind is really strong. I cannot wait to use this when the weather is warmer!

Short side note, the installation, as with most house projects, will get a bit messy (from screwing holes, drilling into the light box, or just general packaging). We cleaned up using the NOMA Vacuum Cleaner and the vacuum light and the ability to turn was AMAZING and it only took us 3 minutes to clean up everything. NOMA, you’ve done it again – thank you for being a trusted brand!

Easy install but light colour changes each time

I was given the NOMA Hayden 3-Reversible Blade 6-Speed Ceiling Fan with Dimmable LED & Remote, 44-in, Brushed Nickel courtesy of Canadian Tire and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.

I assisted my very handy husband with this installation and true to the box, it took us about 45 minutes. The instructions are a little off here and there but nothing was so complicated that it was impossible to figure out the correct way to do things. Most of the items clicked together with ease.

The fan looks stylish but I would have preferred a glass light plate. The big downside to this fan is the need to cycle through the light temperature each time you turn the light on. I would have preferred a way to set it to whatever we wanted.

Overall I am really happy with both the installation, the appearance and the functionality of this fan.

A breeze to install

NOMA Hayden 3-Reversible Blade 6-Speed Ceiling Fan with Dimmable LED & Remote, 44-inch fit just perfect into our bedroom. We are dealing with a cold room , no insulation between our room and garage under us. This ceiling fan when put on reverse brings the warm air up and circulates it through our bedroom. It is meant for a medium space and it fits just perfectly in our space.

We put it up as a family, everyone had something to do, it was a fun evening. My son got to learn about wiring from my husband which is invaluable. My husband works in a job in which he does some wiring, so this was no problem for him but he said, if he didn’t work where he did, he would have been uncomfortable with such a project. I timed the installation, it was about 2 hours from start to finish. As with most big projects, a second set of hands is very helpful.

The ceiling fan came with everything needed other than some electrical tape, but that is a common item in most households.

I love it
