Easy to use

This app is very user friendly and a quick set up. It links to our Google home so all our smart devices can work in harmony. You can voice command or control the lights from the app. Not only off and on but you can also dim which is a nice addition.

Simple for everyone

I am so happy this app after only useing it for about a week. It is so easy to navigate and setting up my smart devices was incredibly simple. I love that it is very basic and not overwhelming. I can open the app and all my devices are right there for me to chose from. I can edit the names of devices when I change what I have plugged into my wall plugs or if I move a smart bulb to another room in the house. I had no trouble installing the app and the NOMA IQ App found my devices right away so there was no trouble trying to search for all the products I was connecting for the first time. I'm really pleased with how simple the app is, even my kids can navigate it. It's very easy to follow if you are a beginner, useing smart home devices, and there is so many options that I can do, expecally with the different hues and lighting options of my smart bulbs. To make things even easier, connecting my Alexa to the NOMA IQ App took no skill or time because the option was available on my dashboard when I open the app and connected in seconds. Having the Alexa connected to the NOMA IQ App is such a handy tool for my home hairsalon. I can change lighting tones when I need daylight mode in the evening when it is harder to mimic daylight in my basement. My kids love having every colour option to chose from while chatting live with friends and for taking photos. I feel spoiled now when I wake up in the night and my room is too cold, I can either pick up my phone and turn my fan off or I can quietly ask Alexia to "turn off fan". No longer do I have to shiver out of bed to walk across the bedroom and shut off the fan. I can even set times to turn on and off my Christmas lights or any other devices I have plugged in. NOMA IQ is such a helpful addition for my home that is simple to use and gives my family hands free simplicity without complicating anything right from the start.

Well organized and easy to use

I downloaded the Noma iQ app as part of a test to try some NOMA Smart products from Butterly. The app was very easy to open and use, as the on screen instructions were easy and clear to understand. It took a few minutes to set up my profile and connect to my wifi network, and then it was another minute or two to connect each device but it was so quick and easy. Using the app is very straightforward, it tells you exactly how to add devices, how to optimize each item or how to add it to a specific group or room to utilize it in the most efficient way. It's one of the easier smart device apps I have used. I would only use this app if it continues to be free.

NOMA Control

All these NOMA iQ products run off its own app. The NOMA iQ app is the kep connecter to the smart wifi light bulbs and wall plugs. Within the setup, the app incorporates smart prompts for guided learning to help you make your smart home as seamless as possible.

The key feature is linking up voice activation with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. This, in my perspective, is the main factor to success.

Make sure you turn on and pair the devices on Bluetooth for everything to work properly on the app!

Great app to use with Noma Smart Wifi products

The Noma iQ app was pretty easy to use with the Noma iQ Smart Wifi outlet plugs and Smart Wifi LED Bulbs that I received from Butterly and Canadian Tire. My daughter loved being able to change the colour of her light in her room by using the app. I also put a Smart Wifi LED bulb in the front door and was able to change the colour of the light using the app to match the xmas lights outside. I set up my Xmas tree using the Smart Wifi outlet plug and was able to set up a schedule for the tree to turn on and off. A really handy app to use with the Noma Smart Wifi products.

Simple set up

The lights were super easy to set up, the app is simple to use, and I was able to connect to my Alexa with no problems. Overall does the job great, and it was a really easy set up!

Dimmable smart light bulb

The app was easy to install but Noma IQ app asked way too many questions, such as location and postal code, which we don't see it being beneficial as it feels like the product is tracking us for information.

Pretty cool!

The app was easy to find and download. The account setup was quick and easy. I did have a bit of difficulties with the app on my device finding the network, but I just relocated to a light near my network and it setup after that. The light bulb was easy to find on the app. Controlling the light: on/off and brightness works well, but sometimes there is a bit of a lag in time. Otherwise, it does what its supposed to!

Importantly, it is great that the app has security protection, DataGuard, for cybersecurity.

A little tricky to pair items but otherwise good

We had a little difficulty with the pairing function for our Noma IQ lights but otherwise found this app ok. Having our Google Home app already though we probably would just use it rather than having a separate app for just some of our devices after initially installing them. That doesn't mean there was anything wrong with this app by any means, I just think less is more!
