Control your devices easily & remotely!

These NOMA iQ Smart Wi-Fi Wall Plugs came at the perfect time! I'm certainly making good use od them this holiday season! I'm using one wall plug for our main Christmas tree and the second wall plug for my child's nightlight in his room. It's simple to install and set up through the NOMA iQ app. Easily set timers to stay on schedule, control and power them on or off. You can also control them remotely, which is convenient if you're away. The voice command feature works well with my Amazon Alexa as well. Loving the NOMA iQ Smart Wi-Fi products so far!

A very SMART holiday season!

I couldn't be more impressed with their functionality and convenience. Their sleek design seamlessly blends with any decor, making them a stylish addition to my home. The power-on LED indicator light is quite helpful, providing a quick and easy way to know when the device is in use or to manually turn it on and off if at all necessary.
The setup was a breeze, especially if you compare them with other brands. And their compatibility with Alexa added a whole new level of convenience. I connected them effortlessly to my Alexa device, allowing me to control them with simple voice commands. The ability to power on and off my Christmas tree using voice control brought a festive touch to my home during the holiday season.
Moreover, being able to control the plugs remotely from my phone has proven to be super handy, giving me the flexibility to manage my devices, even when I'm not at home.

Great for your Christmas lights

Anyone that does not like their home electronics talking to them will like the fact that these plugs can be easily controlled via the Noma IQ app. I am one of those people, the app was easy to download onto my Android devices and I was able to add these outlets to the app by just entering the product type, the app did the rest. It quickly connected to my home wifi and worked right away. I can use the app to turn on and off these outlets whenever I want and I can also use the app to set scheduled times for the outlet to turn on and off. I have found this to be particularly handy for the lights on my Christmas Tree. It is annoying to have to crawl around under and behind a Christmas tree in order to plug in the lights. Now I have a real tree so I find it extra uncomfortable to crawl around under my tree, the needles poking into my arms I can do without. I just set up a timer via to app to turn on and then off the outlet at the same times everyday and I never have to crawl under my tree to turn the lights on anymore. Actually when the lights go off on their own in the evening it often reminds me to head to bed. Overall I really like this product and I can really see how much use I will get out of this

Great helper for your home

Thanks to Butterly and Canadian tire I had a chance to try The NOMA iQ™ Smart WiFi Outlet Plug for my Christmas tree and decorations. Easy set up process and love the product!

The set up process was SO easy. You download the Noma iQ app and create an account if you don’t already have one. Plug in the device and once it syncs, just follow the steps in the app. I also linked my outlet to my Google Home (you can also do Alexa) and followed those additional steps from the Noma app in the Google Home app. The whole process was so quick, total set up time for both outlets took about 15 minutes. I used one outlet for the string lights in my room and it was perfect to have. I love how I can ask my Google to turn on/off my lights without getting out of bed (great for those who are lazy haha) in addition to being able to schedule when the plug turns on and off for example, if you want to charge a device overnight but not have it charge the whole time, you can set a time frame for the plug to turn on/off. It was my first time using a smart wifi plug and I am very happy so far, 5/5 experience!

Gamechanger for simplifying household devices!

This smart plug is a life changing device and could not have come at a better time than the holiday season! I was so excited to receive this from Butterly, Noma and Canadian Tire to try for free in exchange for my honest review. There are so many devices in my home, from tvs, to coffee makers to lamps, and all of them are needed at different times for different uses, and having a smart plug (or two) has made using them so much more efficient and awesome! Speaking of the holidays, how excited I was to plug my Christmas Tree into the plug and be able to ask Alexa to turn my tree on was magical! What a cool feature to be able to use and super handy, as I no longer have to unplug it or find a button to push to turn it off. I am able to turn my lamps on without getting off the couch or out of bed, which has brought such ease to my life. No more looking for switches in the dark, a quick request of my smart speaker and the room is lit up! The NOMA IQ app was so easy to use, I followed the directions in the pamphlet that came with the switches, and then the on screen instructions in the app allowed for a very simple and quick introduction into how to pair the switches, and then use them. Even better, I can then pair them with my smart speaker so that I can have Alexa or Google assistants turn my devices on and off with just a simple request like "Hey Alexa, turn on my Christmas Tree", or "Hey Google, turn the lamp on". I can name each device its own unique name so that my smart speaker knows exactly what plug to turn on.
