I, after a few glasses of wine, decided to watch HSN and a $250 "hair removal" device was the result.
I am not 100% sold on this yet. I have had it since November 2009 and it is now April of 2010 and I have used it religiously (2-5 times a week). I am still waiting for the hair to stop growing -- or at least slow down.
I seem to remember the guy on TV saying that the promise was, if used 2-5 times a week, that no more hair would be around after 6 weeks. Maybe it was 6 months?
I also want to add that I am not a wolly mammoth with super thick hair, so I don't feel like my goal is unrealistic. I will re-post when the hair goes away...
Embrace the innovative No!no! Hair Removal System. I love it
Due to some of the uncertain scientific evidence I have parted with my NoNo after six months because I couldn't just keep using it without any scientific basis which proves its safety.
This is a really expensive beauty buy. But don't be fooled - it's not electrolysis. It is hair removal that might possibly eventually be permanent, but you will be using it as much as your regular razor. The key is that repeated use might damage the hair follicle and prevent hair from growing back, thereby reducing the density of hair growth. It is easy to use, however, and does aid in the elimination of ingrown hairs, which as we all know, is the bane of my existence. The only downside besides the price? The small. The box says there is no smell, but there is. Burning hair off your body will always have a distinct smell, although you will quickly get used to it.
