B O T T O M L I N E :
Noxzema really deep cleanses. Although, it did not help with my acne. Nor, is it meant directly towards acne sufferers. I have been using this for 3 weeks. I like using it to remove excess sweat. The smell may be harsh for some people but I am used to it. I recommend this for people with clear skin because it helps to not prevent future breakouts. This is definitely over drying on my skin so be sure to follow with a moisturizer if you have the same problem. OVERALL, I do recommend this product :)

I have been using this product for years... sure I tried other products, but nothing compares. it leaves your face feeling refreshed and not dried out. love love love it!
HG! . It leaves my skin not too dry, yet not too oily - balanced, like others have said. I don't think it will do much for my acne, but honestly I've pretty much given up that battle - I just want something that doesn't cause MORE acne! Definitely try this - it removes makeup, DOES NOT irritate my extremely sensitive skin (even 'Sensitive' Skin cleansers irritate my skin, and this doesnt!) I really don't find the smell all that bad...(I use the Noxzema anti-blemish pads as well, and they smell HORRIBLE-so these are no where near as bad!) Overall, love this product!
The claims:
There's clean, and then there’s way down deep clean. The Noxzema Original Deep Cleansing Cream is specially formulated to break down and remove dirt, oil and makeup – and it conditions while it cleans, so it leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed – all with that classic Noxzema tingle.
What it does:
* Dissolves dirt, oil and makeup
* Refreshes skin with its one-of-a-kind tingle
* Conditions as it cleans
Pros:
skin feels fresh and clean
refreshes skin with tingle
big jar of product
a little goes a long way
Cons:
- I didn't feel like it conditioned my skin
- I didn't feel my skin was softer after use
- I feel like it dried my skin after several use
What I think:
I love cleansers that leaves your skin feeling fresh and squeaky clean, and I didn't know a cream cleanser could achieve it! Since this one contains menthol, you can really feel that your skin is refreshed and it will smell great for some times after washing it with this product. Also, I love the tingle. The downside is that I was so overwhelmed with this product that I used it morning and night - which I usually don't do in the winter - and my skin began to feel dry some days ago. Maybe the Plus Moisturizers Deep Cleansing Cream with Eucalyptus Oil Moisturizers would have been better for winter use...
I must mention that I was confused with the texture of this product at first. I thought it would be creamy, you know, just like a body cream, but no, it's more like a solid cream. I even thought I had picked an expired jar xD
The smell of Noxzema brings me straight back to my high school days. I’ve always liked the smell, but this time around it seemed more chemically than I remember. The scent is really strong and it’s very noticeable. I have to admit; I started using it only at night because the smell would linger too long during the workday. As a late twenties female working in a office I didn’t want to give off a face wash smell to my coworkers.
I’ve never been a fan of face washes (creams, lip balm etc.) that comes in a jar. I like a pump because it seems cleaner. When washing my face I dislike putting my hand into a jar because there is always water left in the jar regardless of how hard I to try not to. So I end up always shaking it out afterward.
The face wash itself was pretty good. It left that clean tingle feeling and my skin looking nice. My face felt more moisturized than other similar products. The price point is pretty good – can’t complain for $10. Although, if I left the face wash for 1 minute it would leave my face rather red. It could be me, but normally I don’t have that problem.
Overall, good to try but I don’t see myself making the switch from my other brands.
I find that noxema skin cream does a good job cleaning your face without drying it out!
I use to sell AVON, so I was getting my skin care for dirt cheap prices. Once I stopped selling, I had to look for a good replacement. I went and tried various products from Clinique to Burt's Bees, but they are all so pricey. So, I decided to go back and use the stuff I used back in high school. I had my hubby pick up a canister of Noxema and gave it a try again. I still love it. I use it in the morning and at night as my cleanser and it is perfect for my sensitive skin. It is moisturizing, but doesn't leave me face feeling unclean. I have to admit, the smell is nostalgic and maybe that's why I love it so much. It brings back memories of summer and high school, so that's a plus for me. It is cheap, smells good, and is an easy skincare regimen.
Since I started using it I have minimal breakouts. I also like the tingly feeling it gives when you leave it on your face.
