Not bad

I don't usually use a primer. To be honest I really didn't notice much of a difference with my make up with using a primer. I would rather just use my regular moisturizer before applying my makeup.

Pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by this primer but not enough to be wowed by it. This primer smells really nice and is very lightweight. It feels smooth and hydrating but it didn’t make a difference in the way my foundation looked or how long it lasted. It didn’t irritate my skin or break it out which is always good.

I think it would be a nice primer for people with a dryer skin type.

It was alright

Honestly I had high hopes for this product. I am a fan of skincare and makeup and the blending of the 2 together seemed like a dream.

To be fair though, I've never really noticed an exceptional difference from days I wear primer to days I don't.

I am curious to try out other products in this line though!

A little about me and my skin,
I have combination skin (oily t-zone) perhaps this primer helped in lessoning the breaking up of product on my nose but really nothing exceptional to paying the $32 this retails for on their site.

Like I said I do like the concept behind this, but I didn't notice enough of a difference for me to rush out and purchase this particular product.

Better primers out there.

The packaging is lovely and eye catching and I really appreciated that it was cruelty free. Unfortunately that is all I liked about the product. The scent was too strong and wasn't a delightful scent. I also didn't feel my makeup had that flawless finish to it compared to other primers.

Fresh feeling

I would buy this product again as it is fresh and does not leave a clogged feeling. I tried other products before and feel that my skin is sticky and the primer not last long enough.

Sad the product didn't work out better

The ingredients in the primer was initially very exciting for me - the number of natural products that would do great things for my skin made this primer sound like the perfect blend of skin care and cosmetics! Unfortunately, the product didn't work out well with my skin at all (albeit, my skin is typically more sensitive).

Once I put on the product, there was already a little bit of tingly feeling. I had assumed that was just a cooling effect of some ingredients, so I didn't think too much of it. The primer alone didn't do a whole ton in term of extending wear of my foundation. It also didn't have much in term of smoothing my skin or making it ready for make up - typically I look for either pore minimizing or a little bit of evening out my skin tone and minor discolourations.

The product felt a bit sticky after application, so it didn't seem to work great with my foundation either. Blending the product became a bit of work because my foundation wasn't settling (because of the slightly tacky texture that the primer left behind).

When I took off my make up for the day, I noticed some areas that were irritated seemed to flare up even more (redness increased). The next day, I started to notice a slight rash / bumpiness all along my face. It's been a week since I tried the product, and I'm still in the process of remedying the situation.

I really wish I loved it more.

Overscented

I received a free sample of this product from ChickAdvisor to try #gotitfree. After applying it to my face I had to wash it off immediately because the smell was just too strong for me. I felt as if I had applied a perfume oil to my face. I will be giving this sample to a friend of mine.

It gets the job done

I received the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer free from ChickAdvisor - this is the first of their products I have tried.

As someone with dry skin (but also someone who sweats more than usual), it's crucial for me to use a primer that will prep my face for makeup and last the whole day.

This primer did the trick, and I would certainly use it in a pinch. But for a similar price point, I can use the holy grail of primers. The Ordinary makes a primer that is not only incredibly affordable, but it's also the most effective primer I have ever used.

If for some reason I couldn't get my usual primer, I would definitely use this as a backup. It is adequate, but it's not a product that is going to make its way into my daily rotation.

Not for me

I received this sample product from ChickAdvisor. I was excited to try this product, but, sadly, the primer was not for me. I noticed after a few hours, my face was really shiny. It did not last long. Maybe it will work for dry skin people? I have oily skin. The primer has a light herbal scent. I find it pleasant. The product goes on smoothly, and it doesn't need much to cover my face entirely. It is light weight, does not feel heavy. I do not think i will repurchase this primer or maybe try in winter.

Great for moisture but....

I really enjoyed this product. I cannot comment on the value because I only recieved the sample size to review. The product itself has a moisturizer-like cream consistency. Definately not a pore filling primer with any silicones. It is hydrating and light. However, the strong herbal, lemony fragrance seemed to break me out!!! My cheeks did sting and i got small red bumps all over (allergic reaction). I am usually not sensitive to any fragranced products but maybe this was too fragranced? would highly recommend this primer to someone who is not sensitive to any fragrances and needs light moisture underneath their makeup. I didn’t find that it gave my makeup any more longevity than usual.
