Great Value

I actually tried this product while I was in a bridal party (I did my own makeup).

PROS:
- I really liked how this product felt on my face during application - it was super light-weight.
- Foundation mixes well with it and went on smoothly
- It washed off very well, and (the best part) NO BREAKOUTS afterwards!

CONS:
- I applied my makeup at 8:30am and by 7:00pm I noticed that the foundation around my jaw and chin started to cake
- It didn't really do anything for pore coverage or blurring imperfections

OVERALL:
I would 100% use this primer for event makeup, however probably not for makeup that needs to be worn for more than 12 hours.

A good moisturizer, an ok primer

I recieved the nude by nature perfecting primer to try. I have never used any nude by nature products before but have been trying to use more natural products so I was pleased to give this a try.

I like the smell of this product, it's light and doesn't have an overpowering scent. For those who are not fond of an earthy smell, the smell does dissipate after a while so it shouldn't be too much of an issue, but again for me, I liked the scent. This primer goes on smooth and moisturizes the face well. I would not use too much, just the right amount works well.

It did not hide all the imperfections on my face. My foundation went on well over this primer, which is what I would expect.
It didn't seem to prolong the wear of my makeup too significantly but the moisturizing aspect and the fact that the ingredients are beneficial for my face makes this primer better than most.

I may give this a go again because of how my face felt but at this moment I can't say it will become my ultimate primer because it didn't smooth out all my imperfections.

I liked it, but I didn't LOVE it.

I was very excited to receive a sample of the primer to try. I have been looking for a decent primer that does not feel heavy or greasy (I do not like silicone based primers as I think they cause makeup to slide off too much). I really liked this product. The product applies more like a lotion than a primer and has a light scent reminiscent of Bergamot or lemongrass. The scent is a little strong for someone who might be very sensitive to smell, but it also disappears pretty quickly after applying.

The product is like a thin lotion and covers easily. I did not notice that my skin looked smoother, more even in tone, or that my pores were more "blurred" as most primers promise. I also did not think my makeup held up THAT much better than if I had not used any primer, which is really disappointing since I liked the overall feel of it so much. I felt this was more of a moisturizer than a primer, personally. I did not notice any negative effects such as blocked pores or whiteheads while using this product. Again, it is a real shame I did not see more benefit from the primer standpoint, because most primers make my skin go crazy after two days of use.

I like the product and will consider buying it in the future if I find it on sale or for a good price, but overall I did not see any major change in my skin-tone, appearance, or how the makeup held up.

Smooth

I have never tried a primer that had a texture of a moisturizer so when I tried this I was shocked that it went on so smooth and long-lasting. Will buy

Not silicone-y

My first time using this product after receiving it as a part of the PRC right here on ChickAdvisor, I was a little weirded out by it. The product was a different consistency than most primer's I've used; this one was more cream like and less of that silicone-like base. The product also smelled very strongly of lemons (reminiscent of cleaners).

It did work, my foundation lasted longer and stayed on better throughout the day. The product smoothed out my skin fairly well and is definitely one of the better natural-style products out there but probably not the best primer out there. At the $32 pricepoint, I probably wouldn't purchase it again and would just go with a more affordable brand even if it is more artificial.

I love it

Everything about this product is great, except the price.

I used it for the first time last Saturday. I applied it under my makeup and I loved it. I smells so lovely. It gave my skin healthy glow that lasted all day.
I put on my foundation next, and it went to smooth and evenly

My make up stayed in place all day long. And I had a very busy day, I did 3 princess parties, a play rehearsal and a dinner party. I was shocked that I didn't have to reapply. So all these things are great. Here's the rub;
The bottle is only 30 ml for $32 so when I run out I probably won't buy it again. Too rich for my blood, but if you can afford it. It's worth every penny

Good water-based primer

I don't own many water-based primers, so I was happy to receive a (very generous) sample of this.

I appreciate that this product is cruelty-free is free from certain chemicals, however, it does still contain quite a lot of added fragrance, which not only has no benefit to your skin, but can often be an irritant for sensitive folks like me.

The scent on this is quite strong, but luckily it dissipates fairly quickly. The consistency is lotion-like, and it does appear to make foundation glide on quite easily. I haven't noticed a difference with longevity, but I don't tend to have a problem in that respect.

I haven't used this enough to be able to tell whether or not it has caused my skin any irritation. Overall, I would say that this is good, not great.

Nice addition to my makeup routine

I was able to try the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer. I'm so glad I did! I was currently doing my foundation routine without a primer, and now that I've used this I won't go back to doing it with out it. Its smooth, absorbed quickly and left my face feeling super soft! Love it.

Nude by nature perfecting primer smooth and silky

I received the sample to test it out. I don't like fragance but this one is not floral. It actually smells surprisingly pleasant: like some herbal leafy smell. Texture is very smooth that I felt it was like a moisturizer. It didn't dry out my skin. Though I'm not sure if oily skin will like this. It went on seemlessly on my skin and my skin didn't break out. I applied it before I put my makeup on and it looks like my makeup stayed put all day except for my nose (it could be due to me rubbing my nose).

Overall, I quite like the primer and I would use it again.

I did receive the primer for free after the initial testing period.

I am not the biggest fan of the scent nor do I feel like it needs to be as scented as it is. However, once you apply it to your face you don't smell it anymore. I like that it is more like a cream as opposed to plastic (silicone). I can also appreciate the ingredients a bit more given it is not as highly chemical. I had no issues with my makeup sitting on it and I would recommend it to those looking for makeup more on the natural end of the spectrum, ingredient wise.
