Didn't work for my skin type

I have been testing out the Perfecting Primer for the past week or so, using a combination of different foundations in order to give you guys my honest opinion! This primer is silicone free, so you are not going to get that silicone-y feel with it. To be honest, I do prefer silicone primers. I have very oily skin, and half of the time foundation does not last very long on my face. Additionally, I also like the mattifying properties of them.

BUT for the purpose of this I had to ignore that and just go with it. This primer comes out looking like a moisturizer, and feeling like one too. It is not greasy, but it has almost a wet feel to it. It is lightweight, which is nice for the upcoming summer months! The first time I used this primer, I actually did not pair it with a foundation at all – I wanted to see how it performed on its own. I wore it to work with some eye makeup (and of course lipstick… who could forget lipstick?!), and within a few hours my face was like an oil slick. I’m not going to hold it against this primer because my face will do that pretty much no matter what I’m wearing it with.

The second time I tried this primer, I used it underneath a powder foundation – the Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation to be precise. Which I highly recommend, by the way. Not only does it smell AMAZING but it gives good coverage for a powder foundation, and it helps to keep oil a bay. Anyway, this combination was a no go for me as well. The foundation started to break up around my nose and mouth, and it was very noticeable.

The last attempt I made was with a combination of a stick and liquid foundation. I used the Sephora Collection Make No Mistake Stick Foundation and the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation. This was the best combination that I found so far – but it still wasn’t life changing by any means. It lasted the longest (but still only a few hours), and then started to look like crap like the others.

All in all, this primer just isn’t for my skin type. If you have dry to normal skin, I feel like it’ll work better for you!

A nice light primer

Ever since I got my Nude by Nature primer, I’ve been using it under my makeup. It’s a very sheer formula so you barely know you’ve put anything on. If you like a primer, it’s a good one to use but I don’t know if it’s an essential part of your makeup routine.

Smooth primer!

I received this primer for free to try in exchange for my honest review - from ChickAdvisor! I liked the design and packaging for this primer, it is easy to use. I used this primer on my eyes before eye shadow and the product really helped to keep my shadow products in place for the whole day! The formula is smooth and easy to apply. I felt like the products that I put on top of the primer reply stayed put! I would definitely recommend this primer.

A new regular item in my line up!

I have to say, I was so excited when I got picked to try something by Chick Advisor.... until I saw what it was. I rarely wear concealer and never wear foundation because I don’t like how it looks or feels on my skin. Had the product not been shipped directly and I’d received a coupon instead, I probably wouldn’t have gone to get it. Wow I’m so glad I tried it!!!!! It goes on easily, doesn’t smell really like anything, and doesn’t leave a residue. When used under my concealer, it leaves such a nice finish and the concealer doesn’t streak or ball-up (like rather than sitting on the skin nicely) or cake around scabs making them WAY more visible. In fact, when used under my concealer, my skin looks flawless. This is he first primer I’ve ever used so maybe that’s normal, but all I can tell you is I need to find out where to buy this!! Thank you Chick advisor for selecting me to review this item!!!

Smooth

The primer is easy to apply. It leaves my skin feeling light, smooth and well covered. I can use less foundation and it lasts the entire day. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Product, Awesome company

I actually really liked using this primer. I don't normally use primer but this stuff was great during application. It did take a while to soak in to my skin. But this is the same with all primers mostly why I don't use them regularly. It created a great base , and I didn't have to reapply all day.
I will definitely keep this product in my make up bag !.

J'adore le Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer Ça ne me faisait pas mal au visage. Il s'est bien mélangé et mon maquillage a duré plus longtemps. Je recommande définitivement ce produit.

Pour un peau douces

J’ai utilisé a plusieurs reprises le primer Nude b nature perfecting primer. Il rend la peau douce et aide beaucoup au maintien du maquillage pas la suitem le seul petit point négatif que j’ai trouvé par contre c’est son parfun que je trouve beaucoup trop prononcé. Je préfère les produits sans parfun quand on parle de maquillage

Nude by Nature - Amazing

I absolutely love the Nudy by Nature Perfecting Primer. It didn't feel heavy on my face. It blended in nicely and my makeup lasted longer. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great affordable primer

I was pretty skeptical about this primer as I normally use Smashbox photofinish or Lancomes primer which has a silicone mattifying base. This primer went on smoothly, has a pretty good "feel" to it and made my foundation application easy. It covers pores well and adds a nice glow to the coverage. I do have pretty oily skin so I felt that after 8 to 10 hours my skin was looking oily but I believe those who don't have oily skin would really benefit from this primer.
