This primer is smooth, hydrating and helps your foudation look smooth. I have dry skin and helps avoid the foundation getting into my dry patches. It’s a product that I will purchase for sure.

Love the consistency.

I have combination skin, dry cheeks specially in winter and slightly oily T zone.
Starting with the packaging is gorgeous!!! Perfect for traveling, easy to use and take the perfect dose.
Consistency is creamy -gelish, ultra light! A slight smell, lovely but I can't describe it, it dissapeafter a couple of minutes.
It sinks in to the skin, and it feels like it disappears when you are applying, regardless the great oils it contain, is not greasy at all. Slightly tacky, I guess is what helps to make the foundation last longer.
My skin feels hydrated and plumped, perfect for make up application.
I can tell my make up have better resistance to wearing and disappearing when I'm using it than when I'm not.
I love this product more for the amazing ingredients when my skin is not feeling great than for only make up purposes.
In the ingredient list you can find: olive oil, kakadu plum seed oil, papaya fruit extract, green tea leaf extract, calendula flower oil, magnesium, vitamine E, safflower seed oil. No parabens, not silicones, it's a great product! I'm willing to see how it behaves during summer.
For now, I have been loving it!

Perfecting primer

I feel that it's a great product nice texture but is not doing anything to my face...it made it dry. The product feels really soft to touch but is not for my skin type...I would recommend this to someone with normal skin. I have combination skin and it didn't do much to my face.

Great quality, but not very effective for price!

Overall, I found the product to be of high quality, but just not for me. When I first applied the product, my skin was slightly dry, and the product made my face sting like crazy. I came back to it after a few days and made sure to apply a moisturizer prior to applying the product again, and it seemed to help. I didn't notice any immediate differences to my skin when it came to blemishes or smoothing of skin tone, although I believe it did help to ensure my makeup application afterwards stayed on for a longer period of time.

The price for the product seems pretty steep for what it is, as I can easily see myself continuing on without using the primer in my routine, and don't have the budget to pay $40CAD for 30ml of product. Again, overall quality product, but simply not for me.

Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer

Thanks chickadvisor for sending me a free sample of this product to rate and review. I didnt mind the smell or feel at first but it dried very quick, was a little hard to spread and felt a bit sticky after application. I didnt notice a difference with makeup applying smoother or lasting longer. I will stick with my previous primer and would not buy this one. I like the idea of the product and brand, what they stand behind and represent but I need quality product that does what it says effectively.

Not worth it...will not try again

I've used various primers in the past, and they usually leave my skin feeling like silk and they create a smooth service for make-up application. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience while using Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer. Although the primer was light, it left my skin feeling a bit sticky. Also, I didn't find that it created an even base for my make-up application, nor did I notice any difference in the longevity of my make-up throughout the day.

I will not be buying this product, or recommending it to my friends and family. :(

Great Base Product

This was a great primer for my combination skin - I generally get very dry and flakey in some areas, and oily in others, so its tough to find a compatible product. I did still need to use a moisturizer, but not nearly as much as with other primers. The product went on smooth and has a nice texture and natural smell to it.

The best primer I've tried thus far!

I had become a little skeptical when it comes to makeup primers because I have tried them in the past, and while they HAVE worked, there have also been some downsides to them. When I say that they worked, I mean that yes, they kept my makeup on longer. And when it comes to issues, I mean that there would be flaking, buildup of product in certain areas, and even oiliness just a few hours into wearing the primer under my makeup. I have combination skin, so I always struggle with my skin being too dry in places (causing flakiness, yugh), and too oily in others (double yugh)! Something about the formula used in this Nude by Nature primer though really seems to work with my skin. Everything stayed on nicely an remained matte, and there was also no flaking and no product clumping. I'm really happy with this and will be buying a full-sized tube once I run out of this sample tube! Thank you for sending this to me to try for free, ChickAdvisor!

So soft!

I really like this primer! It instantly softens the look of my skin, makes applying foundation on top super easy to blend in nicely. Sometimes I even use it just for the smooth skin look on its own!
