Huge let down for me

I was so excited to be chosen to test this product free thanks to ChickAdvisor and Nude by Nature. I have always been a liquid foundation girl, but was quite excited to try the mineral powder since it is to much better and breathable for my skin. I have been doing full face makeup for over 20 years, so I have plenty of experience. Just to familiarize myself more with mineral foundations, I watched a few youtube videos and felt confident that I could use this product as intended. As suggested in several videos, I first used a colour correcting concealer to cover any redness on my skin after applying the included primer. Regardless of the amount i seemed to apply,(starting extremely lightly then slowly building up) it did absolutely nothing what to ever so even my skin tone. I may have well have used a translucent finishing powder for the amount of coverage it offered. Would not recommend to anyone with any, even extremely mild, skin imperfections, redness, or blemishes. #gotitfree

I was actually surprised at how light this foundation felt (maybe a bit too light as it also flew everywhere as I opened up the packaging) and also surprised by how much of my minor redness it covered.

The only thing is that you need to make sure you have a really good skincare routine. I have combination skin so sometimes my cheeks can be a bit dry and the foundation definitely made that dryness stand out.

great ingredients and feel to this powder, but poor colour

The packaging for this product is really nice, and I really enjoyed that it is cruelty free! The way the product works when you open the container is neat too - or so I thought! It's basically a mesh layer over top of the loose powder and you have to push your brush down on it to pick up powder. I found that even when I pushed my brush down onto the mesh lightly (as directed) powder still flew up in the air! Further, I found it hard to even get the powder onto the brush in this way. Cool idea to avoid having to worry about dropping your foundation and breaking it, but does not work well. I ordered the palest shade and was sad to see that the colour both in the container and when it went on my skin was very orangey! If you're pale like myself, you know how much this sucks and how noticeably fake it looks!
PROS: cruelty-free, amazing ingredients that are actually good for your skin, pretty packaging, contains SPF
CONS: orange tinge to even the palest shade
Maybe this product works great for people who are more tan than myself!

Natural Looking

This powder foundation looks natural on my face and have matte finished. The coverage is okay if you have healthy skin. My only issue is that I have dry skin, especially on my nose and cheeks. The foundation drys my face out even more so I have to use plenty of moisturizer before apply the foundation.
Overall this is a great product.

Soft matte finish

I re ieved this foundation in shade W2 and I would say it is a fairly close shade to my skintone. This foundation gives the perfect finish. Its not too matte but covers oil well and also gives a nice glow. Paired with the primer it is the perdfect duo.

Really "loose" powder

I was super excited to receive my free box of Nude by Nature products from Chickadvisor. I loved the container that the Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation came in. But when I tried to use it, it seemed really loose - e.g. it seemed to fly all over the place - on my counter and sink. Unfortunately the coverage seemed to make my skin look a bit flaky. When I used it with the Nude by Nature primer, it was a bit better but I wouldn't use it. The colour was a little off my natural colour and it didn't seem like a smooth or flawless coverage. Great quality!

I never wear makeup and this is so light when you put it on. The shade is perfect for my skin. It's nice to finally find a product I love!! Will buy again for sure.

Amazing loose powder foundation

This is a good foundation with medium coverage. It can be used alone for a natural look or on top of liquid foundation for a flawless full coverage look. It blends into the skin and does not look like powder. I would definitely recommend this, especially for every day quick makeup looks.

The primer smells amazing!

I want to start by saying I adore natural products. free from things like sulphates, silicone and parabens and loaded with natural ingredients like desert lime and Kakadu plum this makeup was right up my alley! Plus cruelty free? It doesn't get much better then that. I'm really picky when it comes to primers, I like a thin, lightweight, non greasy formula and this primer is all that! And it smells AMAZING sweet and like limes, it's so good! As for the foundation itself I really liked how the formula felt... really soft and light, but I find it gives pretty good coverage (I almost never wear powder on its own)
I would definitely buy the primer again, and would be more than excited to try their other products!

Coverage is as expected: nude

I use a full coverage powder foundation daily, so perhaps that's why my expectations of this product were so high. I have found that pressed powder applies much more smoothly and less messy than loose. And upon tryting his product, I very much still feel that way. The loose powder in this formula flew everywhere during application and it took a lot more product, then it should have, to target my problem areas enough.

The coverage isn't bad at all. It's definitely more of a nude look, as the brand name implies. But, I found application time, compared to others I've tried, to achieve similar results, made this product not worth purchasing in the future for myself.

You can see my attached before (left) and after (right) photos for comparison. It worked good, but not well enough for me to be blown away.
