Now if you talked to my husband, he would swear that the house walls and roof would collapse if Nutella was not in the cupboard. He grew up with this product where I didn't know about it till I met him. The taste is a 7/10 for me but when I look at the nutritional information I was surprised. The high amounts of sugar and oil are more combined than the amount of hazelnut in the product.
The cost is pricey unless bought on sale so thankfully my husband uses this product as a treat and limits its usage.
Nutella is a little healthier choice for a spread. Has a good texture and taste. We use it on toast, waffles and in some baking. Overall it's a nice change from peanut butter with a little less sugar!
Where have you been all my life?? Can you believe I have never tried Nutella Hazelnut Spread until this week. It's heaven in a jar! I can't wait to bake something using it.
Ohh yummy, Nutella is soo good. My kids love it especially. This stuff is used on many things from toast or waffles to baked french toast and desserts. Can't get enough of it. We go through so much of it fast.
'm a Certified Nutella addict. Here's just a few amazing ways to entice your taste buds:
#1. Nutella, peanut butter, and sliced banana. OMG! You've got to try it.
#2. Shmear some on the inside of an ice cream cone, fill with Vanilla Bean Hagen Das, and thank me for giving meaning to your life.
#3. Much easier chocolate dipped strawberries, and it doesn't harden.
Nutella Haxelnut is Delicious. on everything. bread, strawberries, a chocolate quesadilla, nutella sandwich, nutella wrap, nutella on a banana, a spoon, on everything. You can never go wrong this item. I love it so much that i eat it everyday.
Nutella is definitely one of those spreads you can put on anything (within reason of course) great to spread on top of waffles, put in crepes, replace chocolate bar pieces in smores, etc...
Nutella is happiness in a jar! I love it and more importantly so do the kids.
We are very lucky that no one in our household has a nut allergy and with 2 kids who are 5 and under every meal is a battle except when Nutella is on the menu.
We have busy weekday and weekend mornings, being able to pop a plate of food in front of them and know they will eat it quickly is such a life saver.
Thinking that they are missing out on nutrition?
Nope, the kids dip veggie sticks in it and I can put some in a kale/spinach smoothie with a bit of veggie juice and fruit and the kids love it.
Nutella is really creamy and rich! It can be a nice change from the usual pb & jelly. My kids really like it so it is never around for very long.
Alright...SO I admit to savoring on a spoonful (or 2) when it is that "extreme craving for chocolate" time of month. And it was freaking awesome, but addictive!
I find it a bit on the pricy side. But it tastes like good quality. Some store brand imitators are alright but not as easily spreadable! I had a donut with Nutella filling the other day and that was heavenly. That being said, Nutella has many ways to delight besides JUST being toasts best friend ;) If you like hazelnuts and rich creamy chocolatey perfection, just try a small jar for fun. You won't be dissapointed!!
I have only tried Nutella hazelnut spread once. It tasted just like chocolate, except healthier. Great on toasted bread and bagels! Kind of expensive though.
