I was lucky enough to have received this Nutrience Grain Free Fraser Valley cat food from ChickAdvisor, I feed my two cats Blue Buffalo Wilderness grain free on a regular basis, they love this Nutrience cat food and are doing very well on it. They don't need to eat very much if this food which in turn means less cleaning if the litter box, coat feels and looks great, they like the small pieces and love the freeze dried raw bits. Will be buying this again for sure, highly recommend and love that it is CaNaDiaN made.
I got to try the Fraser Valley Cat food
My Kitten LOVES this food and I love that it is grain free. I would give my kitten web and dry food. But now i just give him Nutrience he likes it more then wet food ( crazy right) and it is everything i look for in a Pet food
it has all natural ingredients with NO FILLERS.
I really like that it is made in Canada ( love to support Canadian companies).
This is the ONLY food i will give my pets from now on. I'm so very to have find this product :)
Great product overall, but very pricey comparatively to others similar on the market. I do like that I can find it in most pet stores, and the cats seemed to enjoy it! I used this as part of the Product Review Club. Since they liked it, I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
I received a sample of this cat food from Chick Advisor & Nutrience. My cats could NOT contain their excitement! They absolutely loved the freeze dried bits. We usually buy a similar product, but they were more excited about this than the other brand that we were using. This is cheaper than what we were using as well! Love the ingredient list and that it is Canadian made!
My cat adored Nutrience Grain Free Subzero Cat Food. As soon as I received the product I gave a few bits to her as a treat and she ate them in no time flat. Next I left a few pieces on the floor close to where our dog was and she crept up and grabbed those too. I then returned to the kitchen to find her rubbing up against the bag of food on the counter. I think it is a hit. As for me I care that it is grain free and has only top line ingredients. I love my animals and want only the best food for them. I would continue to buy this food for Miss Mioux.
This free trial couldn't have come at a better time! One of my kitties has a chicken allergy, so we have been experimenting, unsuccessfully, until the Nutrience Subzero Prairie Red cat food came. Maisy has finally stopped puking, no ore skin lesions, and my other guy is pretty happy with it too. For a high quality cat food, it is a very reasonable price.
I love this food l. Not only is it good for a life stages but it has freeze dried bits in it. Its also Canadian made and my cat loved it. I'll be feeding him it for the rest of his life.
When I first received this product from being selected as part of the Product Review Club, my male cat wouldn't stop smelling the bag for a good ten minutes. Once I had read through the material provided in the package, I decided to add some of the food to their current dry food and mixed it in.
As directed, I put about 25% Nutrience to 75% current dry food. Both cats started eating it immediately. In the package, it directed me to put 25% at first, slowly increasing to 100% by week's end, since most other foods have less protein and cats stomachs need to get used to the change. I already change their current food from chicken to salmon each other bag, and their wet food is different every day.
I check all the food I give to my cats, so I've gotten used to seeing the poor ingredients found in most cat foods, and have only found a few that have meat as the first 3-5 ingredients on the dry food list. I was expecting that Nutrience would be similar to the food I was already giving them, and made the mistake of not reading the ingredients and adding too much the second day to their current food. My female cat ended up getting sick four times on the floor in one day. That's when I checked the ingredients on Nutrience, and found out just how wrong I was.
Not only does Nutrience have meat as the first 3-5 ingredients, but actually has meat as the first 7! I couldn't believe after all this time of seeing the same old cat food with fancy packaging that didn't deliver, Nutrience actually does! It doesn't just match expectations; it exceeds them. I am so happy to be able to feed my cats such a nutrient rich, healthy dry food.
After realizing my mistake, I added less Nutrience than their current food, and have slowly added more each day, as directed. My female cat hasn't been sick since. And at only $5 more than their current food, I'm definitely going to be buying it again in the future. Thanks Nutrience!
Not that long ago, my husband and I made the decision that we wanted a better quality food for our three cats. While none of them could be considered old, after going through some unrelated health trials we were eager to spoil our oldest cat (who is a young age 4) and give the experience of a grain free food to him and our other two.
Well, I'm thrilled to say I had the chance to try Nutrience Sub Zero in the 'Prairie Red' flavour with all three of my cats; Ginger Cornelius, Birman Archie and grey with ginger streaks Bonnie-Belle. Fair warning, none of my cats are picky when it comes to try food, but on feeding them Nutrience originally, they went a bit nuts and started chowing down with a new voracity. I really like that as well as being grain free Nutrience contains freeze dried meat, so you can be sure you're getting good quality as close to natural ingredients.
One thing I really noticed about using Nutrience is all three of my cats coats became much softer and silkier and as a plus, they seemed to eat less than with the cheap food, while still maintaining high energy levels.
Overall I found Nutrience food to be amazing and the only one con I can think of is that I noticed my cats breath's were a little smelly, but I think that's due to the high meat content so it's to be expected. It's truly an amazing way to feed your cats the raw diet that many veterinarians recommend if, like me, you have an aversion to raw meats and can't stand to touch it.
Pros:

This post is going to take a bit of a different tone than what I had originally planned. In my first Nutrience SubZero post, I had wanted to focus on the weight loss aspect of my cat Mr. Jingles. With a heavy heart I have to announce that my furbaby Jingles took a trip over the Rainbow Bridge December 8th, 2015. What would of normally been a routine vet visit, turned into him never coming home again. So I'm still in shock as I'm writing this, and wanted to make this post a bit of a memorial post celebrating his life. I was blessed with 10 wonderful years with him.
Luckily, Jingles did get a chance to enjoy the Nutrience SubZero Fraser Valley cat food from PetSmart. Unfortunately, I never got the chance of taking his picture enjoying the food... and the food he did enjoy. I also must state, that him taking a trip over the Rainbow Bridge had nothing to do with the pet food testing. I learned at the vet that he must of had a heart problem that went undetected until now, that there was nothing that we could of done. Even if we caught it a bit sooner, it would have still had the same outcome in the end. I will be completing this review with Jingles, as well as his furry friend, my fur-sister, Molly.
