A great food with great ingredients (we tried the Prairie Red Formula from the product review club). However, all 4 of my cats eat around the little square freeze dried pieces in the food. Not sure what they hate about them, but they are always left in the bowl.
It is on the pricier side for cat food, but they eat less of it so that brings the price per feeding down but there are other grain free foods out there where my cats will eat all of the food and not leave random pieces.

I was so excited when the Nutrience Cat Food arrived in the mail that I had to test it out on my cats right away! I have 6 cats so that is a rather fair size of a sample group in one home. The flavor sent to us was "Fraser Valley." At first, when it was poured into separate bowls for them, the cats were a bit hesitant to try it - they came towards it, sniffed, some took a bite or 2 and then walked away. It was left out in the bowls for them, but after a few days I noticed that unfortunately it was not being eaten. I poured out some more, left it out for another few days, but still not luck. Finally, I decided to mix it with their regular cat food, and that did the trick! So overall, it seems that none of the 6 cats were too keen on the taste of this product, however, when mixed with their usual food, they ate it - seems like a good way to sneak in some nutrients! I will not be purchasing the Fraser Valley kind again, however, I may consider purchasing a different flavor. Despite my experience, I would still recommend it to others - if your cats don't like it, consider mixing it in with their favorite snack :)
PS: thanks Chickadvisor for the surprise in the mail along with this cat food!

Our cat loves the Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Food. She runs to her feeding spot as soon as she hears you open the container we have it stored in. Transitioning her was easy and we were able to do it within a couple days with no GI upset. In fact now that she is eating grain free I am finding that her #2's in the litter box are firmer. Very pleased with the trial of this food.

My cat Mittens received a bag of Nutrience Fraser Valley grain free cat food for free to try out. While Mittens can at times be a picky eater she loved this food immediately!
Mittens coat is nice & shiny with this food & she's just as happy & cuddly as ever!
I love that this food has lots of healthy ingredients and that Mittens enjoys it too. I'll definitely be looking for it the next time I need to buy cat food!

When i first opened the bag, my 2 cats (being nosie) were sticking there head in the bag. Something must have smelt good because i couldnt get rid of them. After pouring it into there bowl, mixing it with there old food, they started picking out the new food. I have never seen them fight over food but in this instance, there 2 heads couldnt get any deeper into the bowl to try the new stuff. They really enjoyed it. I did notice they had more energy and i found they didnt shed as much in the 2 weeks they were eating the food. I say its a winner.

My 9 year old cat Rocky got to try the Prairie Red subzero food for the past 2 weeks. Although he was super interested when we first got the bag, he refused to eat the food at first. We did the progressive integration (added a little to his regular food then slowly put more and more in each day), but he would actually cherry pick and eat only his old food. Took about a week before he finally gave in and started eating it! I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but he seems like he's had more energy lately. I've caught him playing with his toys more and he's been playing with my kids more too (which they are pretty happy about). I must say that I was super impressed by the list of ingredients (it almost made me want to try it myself lol!) and I felt good for giving it to my cat. It's not cheap food, but the quality is definitely there. The only thing I would change about it is the size of the kibbles, I prefer when they are larger otherwise my cat just swallows without chewing and I worry about plaque build up on his teeth. Overall great product

The first day we received the Nutrience Grain Free Fraser Valley dry cat food, Serenity, my Burrmese couldn't wait for me to open the package up. She was all over the bag. When finally I got the bag opened, I scooped out a 1/3 of a cup of food for her. She woofed the food down within 5 minutes. All gone. I do believe she really enjoyed the cat food. Strider, on the other hand, likes the cat food as well, but not nearly as much as Serenity did. Strider nibbles at the food throughout the day, but prefers his other grain free dry food. I have noticed that Serenity has shinier fur since she started eating Nutrience. Both cats are energetic and very good temperament, so I don't see any change there since eating the cat food. I like the fact that this product is Canadian made, grain free and contains fresh natural products. The cost of $25.00 for a 5 lb bag is totally worth it. I do most of my shopping at Pet Smart and have already bought more Nutrience for the cats. The loyalty card has been set up and I have used the coupon.

I got the Prarie Red flavour and my adult cat (4ish years old) enjoyed it! He loves everything we give him because he likes to try new flavours / foods. After a day or two though, he didn't scarf it down as fast as he usually does. I'm not sure what it is, but maybe it lost its appeal? With that said, he still eats the whole serving, but he doesn't do it as fast as he did with his other food.

Unfortunately, my mature cat (about 8 years old) threw up multiple times within hours of eating this. At first, we thought it was a one-off, but we tried feeding it to her a few more times and got the same results. We can tell she's not a fan of it because she doesn't really eat it when we pour it in her bowl. It's quite unfortunate that this happened because the bag says this is suitable for all types of cats.

Please don't let my one cat's experience ruin this for you because my other cat showed no signs of discomfort or dislike. It's a definite must have if you have cats under 7 or 8 years old!

My cats generally eat a very high protein food and they loved this! the ingredients were great, which I did not expect at first. It definitely makes me consider switching from my higher priced specialty food to this one. My cats loved the taste and their energy was just as good as ever! They loved the food, so I am happy! :)
Great product, pleasantly surprised by this company!

This cat food is amazing. I have a young cat and after having her spayed found that she became much less active and put on quite a bit of weight. I was feeding her low end cat food that was available at my nearby grocery store.
Since getting the Nutrience Sub Zero Cat Food I have noticed her weight is improving, her fur is softer and shinier and she is playful and energetic again. Although this is much more expensive than grocery store brands I am happy to pay it for the benefits.
The only drawback to this great cat food is locating it. I live in a large city but can't seem to find it anywhere.
If I can find it I will buy it!
