I received a free bag of Nutrience Grain Free SubZero to try, in exchange for my honest review.
I was really excited when I was chosen to try Nutrience SubZero cat food for my 3 boys. I chose the Prairie Red flavour for them. From the minute I opened the bag, I knew this food would be a hit. All 3 were trying to climb up the counters to get some. For 3 picky eaters... this is a great sign.
2 of my cats dove right in, and actually ate around their old food to pick out the new SubZero. (I mixed it with their old food to avoid digestive issues). The other took some time to try the new food, but eventually SubZero won him over. The really seemed to like the freeze dried raw pieces! This is a great way to incorporate some raw into their diets!
What I love most about this food is that it's Grain Free, and the first 3 ingredients are all meat. I find this important, because cats are carnivores and need meat in their diet... not grains and by-products. Nutrience SubZero is full of ingredients that I feel really good about giving my cats. It's really important to me that the foods I'm feeding my 3 boys is the best I can give them, and Nutrience provides exactly that with all of their products.
As far as their activity level goes, I didn't see a huge difference. My cats are older, and go through spurts of being hyper, or just laying around, catching some zzz's. I did notice that all 3 cats feel softer, and their coats have an incredible shine to them. It's amazing what a high quality food will do!
I will absolutely purchase Nutrience Grain Free SubZero again. In fact, I already have. Going to try a new flavour when I need to pick up a new bag.
Mes chats en raffole, de plus elle contient de la glucosamine, chose qu'un de mes chats à besoin
I received this from the product review club.
My cat wanted this before I even got it into the house! I was bringing it in and she was all over me. She's an extremely docile, and lazy cat, but the second she smelt this she wanted it right away.
She tried to rip the bag open at one point!
She loved this food. She ate her entire bowl quickly.
By the end of the bag, she was still loving every bite. I felt really good giving this to her. Her coat was extra shiny by the end of it!
I had to go out and buy another bag because she wouldn't eat the Blue I usually buy her. She much prefers this one!
I was pleased to receive the Prairie Red cat food flavour through the Product Review Club. All 4 of my cats loved this food from the very first time I opened the bag! It's hard to find a food they'll all eat. They usually won't eat "healthy" cat foods, and want the cheap supermarket brands, but they all ate this one. Actually, I didn't read the instructions for introducing the food slowly, and just poured it into a dish, and they all inhaled it. (I do recommend following the instructions, though, as my haste resulted in one little barfing incident...but only once, after that they were fine). This is a great choice for anyone who wants healthier food for their cats. The price is on par with other healthy or natural brands.
I received the Fraiser Valley cat food for free in exchange for my/my cats review. I will start by saying that I have an automatic feeder for my cats and they were waiting for the tray to turn once this food was mixed into the food I was feeding them...so I gathered by that they enjoy the flavour. There also is never even one kernel left in the trays when i refill them. There generally was always some left with their previous food as well. My one cat Cinnamon is a tortoise shell cat and her hair has changed quite a bit since feeding her this. I used to think it felt wiry but now it seems so soft and sleek with this new food. Also both cats seem to be sleeping less, not really sure if that is the food or the weather, but they seem to spend more time looking out the windows than sleeping these days. Grain free food is key for me, don't see the point in paying for fillers so I love that this food has none. I will continue to feed Cinnamon and Sage this food as they seem to enjoy it and like I say Cinn's coat is really soft and sleek now. Already recommended this food to my niece for her cat. Great great food!
When I received the Nutrience SubZero Prairie Red for my cats to test through the Chickadvisor Product Review Club, I was stoked!
First off, the packaging is beautiful: the black matte and glossy contrast beautifully with the vibrant colors and the resealable zipper is great for storage and freshness.
Secondly, I as really excited about the quality ingredients in this cat food. And it comes from a pet owner who already buys high quality cat food, not the supermarket kind.
My cats transitioned from an already high protein food with not too much difficulty.
While I was really excited about this new food, my cats didn't follow suit... Don't get me wrong, they ate it, which is a good sign, but they were not excited by it.
Nonetheless, as I said before, this is a great food that provides everything your fur baby needs.
Will I buy it again? You bet! My cats deserve the best.
My cat loves the Nutrience SubZero Prairie Red cat food! At first,he was not sure about it,as it is a different texture from his regular food. The kibbles are really small, about twice as small as his usual brand. I mixed a bit in with his regular cat food, and gradually increased it a bit more each day until he was eating only this. Now he loves it,and is like some obsessed cat that cannot get enough to eat..lol. he waits by the cupboard door and meows for it. He really do love it,and that makes me happy when my cat is happy! I love the fact that it is all natural and grain free,as I know that is good for my kitty and only the best for our pets will do! I have noticed he has had a lot more energy the last little while, not sure if it has anything to do with this new food or not,but he has become really "hyper" and energetic.:)
I would definitely purchase this again,if it was not TOO expensive and recommend this for any pet owner to try on their pet. It is a great quality cat food and we want the best we can get for our precious pets to keep them healthy and happy!
I received this product free of charge from Chickadvsor in exchange for my honest opinion.
This cat food was amazing. My cat is pretty finicky and doesn't like many foods but this one he just gobbled up. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone I know.
We tried the Fraser Valley flavour. My cat is older (15) and typically a very finicky eater but he took to the food right away - I didnt have to mix it in with anything! I loved that the first ingredients listed were actually meat products. I noticed a change in his coat which seemed to be a little shinier and much less dry than it was - perhaps it was the added coconut oil! The lack of filler and grains in the ingredients appeared to keep him fuller a bit longer with less constant crying to be fed. I also appreciated the zip lock closure. I will definitely be switching to Nutrience - it may be a bit more expensive but well worth it for someone I see as part of my family.
Our home has four cats, ranging in age from two to ten years of age. Momo is a purebred Siamese, Colette and Simone are half tabby and half Siamese sisters, and Leo looks like a black panther (and thinks he is, being the only male!). I was concerned introducing new food because that can always be problematic and Leo seems to have digestive problems. I didn't know how to manage introducing the new food because they all tend to eat each others foods, no matter how hard we try to keep their meals separate!
The fact that Leo attacked the box before we even opened it was a good sign! :-) Then when we did open it, the 4 of them stood around the bag like sentries. They were very excited indeed!
I started by giving them a few as treats - they loved them. I then mixed it in with their other dry food and no probs with any of the cats. Not only did they seem to love the food, but there were no "bad smells" from the litter box which is very unusual for Leo (sorry Leo! :-) I have always thought he might be allergic to grain and I think he's doing so well because this food is grain-free.
Over the course of the last 2 weeks I have switched them completely to this new dry and they really love it. It looks more substantial than the usual dry food and they seem to eat less and I think it's because it's not "light" (looking), like so many commercial dry foods.
While this is pricier, I do think it's worth it because I not only think it's healthier, but they definitely eat less. It LOOKS healthier than the usual dry food. I definitely plan to buy it when we run out.
