My cat is like my second child and I want to make sure I feed her the best food possible so she can have a long healthy life. Upon arrival the packaging was very well sealed and thick and opaque, perfect to make sure the food is prevented from being oxidized and loose it's nutrients as well as avoiding rancidity. The packaging claimed that the food was grain and byproduct free, perfect for cats that are true carnivores. To verify the claim I looked at the ingredients and sure enough not only were the first few ingredients meat but there weren't any grains or byproducts. To make sure again I looked at the protein percentage of the food, the higher the percentage the lower non-meat products are in the food and sure enough with over 40% protein not only do they back up their claim, it's one of the highest levels in cat food I've seen!
Opening up the bag the kibble were perfect bite size so that they can chew and clean their teeth but not too large. The smell was also quite pleasant, not fishy or acrid/acid smelling. The final test was what my cat would think of it, would she pick around it during the transition? Rebel? Nope she actually dove in and loved it! Even after fulky transitioning to the new food she became very excited when her kibble was refilled.
Overall I think this is a fantastic cat food and strongly recommend it. After two weeks you'll notice your cat having more energy and fur beginning to grow and fluff out. Also if you gave foods with fillers you'll notice the stool being smaller thus reducing letterbox waste, a plus!
My two cats loved #Nutrience#SubZero Grain-Free Fraser Valley cat food. The bits of Real chicken and pacific salmon, herring and cod were loved and devoured. It makes the cats fur very shiny and the shedding was reduced. The food is very filling and found the cats to be satisfiex longer than with my regular food i WAS feeding them. The price is a little higheer as the food is premium. Quality is A++ i would definetly recommended this product to pet owners. You will be satisfied and your cats will love you for it!! I will be switching my cats over to this amazing healthy cat food with great ingredients.
My cats absolutely loved Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Prairie Red Cat Food. The second I poured the food in the dish, my cat didn't lift his head to even take a breath. I noticed my cats coat went from feeling like straw to nice and silky smooth. I will be staying with Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Cat Food.
I was extremely pleased with this product. Normally my two cats are picky eaters, but not so with this food. In fact, my six month old kitten actually chewed through this bag to get at it! During the time that I was feeding them this product, I had a decrease in up chucking. That is a really nice benefit. Both of my cats coats are softer and more glossy. I definitely will be buying this product again.
My kitty LOVED this! Will look out for it in stores.Love the quality of the mix and Penny loves the taste. She had a problem with her skin that must have been exacerbated by my previous food for her.Her hot spots are all clear now.
My cats are more spoiled than they know. They got to try Nutruence SubZero for FREE as part of a product review club by ChickAdvisor. They got to try the Fraser Valley flavour cat food.
My cats are annoyingly picky and they only somewhat enjoyed the food. I liked the food, in terms of ingredients and quality more than they enjoyed the taste. What you see in the pictures is my big Tuxedo kibble cat rejecting trying the new food (he has since tried it, but prefers something else if both kibbles are in his bowl). My two wet cat food lovers who only eat kibble for half of their diet dug right into trying the new food. They have since continued to eat some, beacause I give it to them, but they don't show any preference for it over the other kibble option in the house. I think my cats prefer kitty junk food. *mother sigh*
This product would not be my first choice to buy or recommend, but it would be far from my last. Hope it works better for others.
I was lucky to received the Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Prairie Red formula. My cat is a full member of my family and im always trying to feed him the best food possible. I was intrigue by this formula since it contains freeze dry beef liver and bison meat. I often buy bison steak that i cook for my cat and thats his favorite food in the world. The is the first cat food i see that has it in it. Well, no surprises, he jumped in his bowl and asked for more after his meal. I took some of the freeze dry bits out of the mix and gave them to him as treats ;)
It is grain free and packed with lots of good for cat ingredients.
the only negative point i have is the small size of the kibbles. Its hard for my cat to grab them. He almost have to lick his bowl to get them all.
He hasnt been eating this food long enough to see any change in his health but judging by the impressive ingredient list ,im convince its good .
I recieved nutrience grain free subzero cat food free through chick advisor. I'm currently feeding it to my cat and he seems to really enjoy the food! The thing I love about this cat food is that it makes his litterbox less stinky!!!! I also really love that it's grain free!! I would totally recommend this cat food to anybody with fur babies!
I will say I wasnt sure about this being that I had a picky cat. It shocked me she did eat it and what was even more shocking was no bad coming out for her. I would buy again but they are a little small the only thing I didnt like. the pieces too small.
I am basing my ratings and review on my thoughts of the product, rather than my cat's, unfortunately. My cat, Oreo, did not care for the Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Prairie Red cat food that we received from ChickAdvisor free to review. We try our best to give our cat good food with real meat as the first ingredient. Sometime, however, my husband purchases lower grade/lower cost food for him. It appears that my cat likes junk food. I'd love to only feed him Nutrience, because I could see the quality right away. I was impressed with the natural real ingredients in the product such as beef, wild boar and lamb; plus, I appreciated the addition of whole eggs and vegetables like squash, sweet potato and broccoli. For these reasons, I do recommend Nutrience Grain Free SubZero cat food and I will continue to try to encourage my cat to eat better. Thank you so much for this opportunity, ChickAdvisor!
