My two cats received the Fraser valley flavor and seemed to enjoy it very much! I love the ingredients in it, knowing I'm feeding my pets food that is healthy and has natural ingredients. They seemed to take to it easily and I'm already seeing a difference in their coat!
I have 3 pretty picky kitties who are very spoiled. We usually purchase foods that are a lot more expensive than this to ensure they are getting high-quality nutrition. When I compared the ingredients and price tags, I was surprised to see that the ingredients were very similar but the price was very different! My kitties all loved this food and we may even switch from our old choice to this one! It's definitely recommended :)
My one kitty has a very sensitive tummy and many foods i tend to see a second time (ewww) this food did not make a second appearance. This is always a win in my books!!!
Both kitty broke into the bag before I had a chance to work in into their meal!
This kibble was a favourite for 2 of my 3 cats. The only cat who didn't like it is the pickiest cat on the planet though so that says NOTHING about the food itself, and everything about the cat who will ONLY eat Orijen or Acana. More specifically she will only eat the chicken one, the other flavours she won't even taste, and the Nutrience I got was Prarie Red and it is beef/boar/bison based so she was out right from the beginning :) Of the other cats, one seemed to very much enjoy the freeze-dried bits of meat in the kibble especially, actually scooping it out of the bowl to eat first (followed by a full plow of the face to inhale the tasty kibbles) and the other cat enjoyed it all, quickly. Neither cat required a phasing-out period, they both loved it straight away and if given the choice went to the Nutrience over their other kibble (I think the meaty bits helped). They both especially loved it mixed with their wet food, this was the winning combo for our family in the end - a bit of wet food with a healthy dose of Nutrience Sub-Zero. I noticed that the cats seemed to have more energy, and it is definitely doing something positive to their coats, they're shedding like crazy and silky soft. There was some noticeable difference in the stool, darker more solid pieces that stink quite a bit more than usual, but that's to be expected with the super high protein levels in this kibble. I also need to add that this is the only kibble (to my knowledge) that clearly states it has Glucosamine and Chondroitin in the food, which is a great addition for the optimal joint and bladder health of my elderly clowder :) I will 100% buy it and will replace the crappy treats they like with this kibble and they won't even be mad!
My cat is super picky with cat food so I've always kept her on one brand but I was open to trying a new brand and she actually loved this one! The price was high but quality cat food you can trust is high in price was worth it!
My senior cat very love this food and my other cat love all kind of food so obviosy she's love it . He stops to be sick from the beginning I start to feed him with Nutrience food. I recommend to everyone.
My cat, she really seems to enjoy this food very much. She acts like she is never fed, always wanting more! highly recommended. I do believe i wlll be buying this brand for her from now on... thank you
As soon as I put the Nutrience Sub Zero food in my cats dishes they all came milling around to check out the new food. The first thing my cats went for was the freeze dried bits, they certainly enjoyed eating those bits first! The quality of the food is very good and I like that it's grain free. Overall when given the choice between this food and my usual brand, my kitties didn't seem to have a preference. Their fur is shiny and I think the litter box doesn't smell as bad when they ate food that is not premium or grain free. I liked the packaging also with a good seal and easy to distribute. I would buy this food again and I feel confident that the quality is sufficient and healthy for my cats. I also appreciate that I don't smell the food either as I have experienced some foods that have a very strong smell. I also liked the size of the kibble. Perfect for munching without leaving crumbs! I have many cats and price would be the only issue for me however I am willing to pay their extra price for a product that is Canadian and made with real meat and fish especially with freeze dried real meat and fish.
We receive Nutrience grain free SubZero Cat food in the prairie red flavour. The first thing I noticed once I opened the bag were the peices of freeze dried meat(I think my cat Ace noticed those too because he picked out those pieces to eat first). Quality wise the Nutrience Grain Free SubZero is fantastic, it did leave my cats fur looking more healthy and shiny. The price is a little off putting but for the quality ingredients I wouldn't mind paying that price. I notice that my Cat Ace doesn't need to eat as much of the grain free SubZero food to be full as he would with his regular brand. I would definitely recommend this food to anyone with a cat who looks to purchase quality food. I am still undecided if I will purchase again. Thank you Chick Advisor and Nutrience for the opportunity to sample this great cat food for free!!
I have multiple cats that I tested on the Frazer Valley grain free sub zero by Nutrience. They all loved it. I have been feeding them grain free dry food for years but this was the first bag that they couldn't get enough of. One cat even ripped the bag open one night so he could help himself to more. Now of course I keep it in the cupboard. It's little more expensive to buy but I will definitely keep buying it for my cats.
